Jesus, has it been discussed how Malik completely ignored a wide open receiver (#47) in the end zone on that 2-pt conversion attempt? That was just bad.

That 7 man blitz on UW last offensive play was a brilliant call. I've never been so glad to be as wrong as I was about Steele. I melted so hard that day.

I think everyone was wrong about Steele. Maybe he had learned from his less than stellar time at LSU and Clemson?

There was an article I saw where Steele was talking about that last blitz.
He said we had a 1:30 left on the clock. So if the blitz worked, game was over. If it didn't, offense would still have time to make something happen. If we went conservative and they scored then we'd have no time to counter.

He is making some good calls no doubt but dont be fooled. We are playing unreal defense as of late due to our recruiting and development of Defensive linemen. They are dominating which makes all the other defensive positions a little easier

True. We have come a long ways from watch Marlon Brown's brother fall down on every play or watching Blacksfon and Gabe Wright get pushed around.
My theory us that our LBer play lead to better defense too. Deshaun Davis is a fricking beast and does not get he credit her deserves for his role in our defense.
