Not sure if this is in another thread, but has there been any chatter in the AD search? I haven't seen any potential names.

I've seen absolutely nothing about it anywhere.
And, honestly, with Gus signing an extension, there's no rush or urgency to this point. Wouldn't surprise me if no hire was made until the end of the academic year.

Hopefully an seasoned executive leader with broad experiences in management, leadership, marketing, contracts, return on investment/equity, etc.
Hopefully not some washed up coach or ball player who has no relevant experience running a $100 million business.

Considering the 6+ senior/exec ADs we have on payroll, I don't think our AD needs to be super qualified to be honest.

I think they are hoping people will forget about it and JJ stays.

Sorry you didn't get much of a strong response.
I guess that tells you, most don't know.
Unless there is a dark horse, or names that have not been thrown out there, but they are being interviewed, it seems it is going to come down to the Utah State AD or the NFL women executive. Etheridge is also a possible...just because of his connections...

Could part of the deal with gus include some say in the AD decision perhaps? I'm sure gus would have some sway with Duf if Duf is really allowed any input in the process.

I have a hard time believing they won't get Gus' stamp of approval after handing him a $50mil contract.
I imagine they just won't choose any AD that Gus dislikes for consideration. Doubt Gus has much influence on candidate selection though

I did see where two of our candidates were off the market. That's all I have seen about it. Hopefully they are still looking over my resume.

I am hoping for Utah St’s AD.
