Geez I assumed we cruised to a win. Did we waste good arms on UAB or something?

We have couple issues with P
1) starters need to get through more innings, using our pen a lot
2) pen has not been consistent at all

On the bright side all of the P are getting reps

Nothing doing through 2. Petrovic pitching well. Guevara back in line up after opening weekend injury. Tigers have 3 hits and left all three stranded so far.

Petrovic comes down to earth after going 5.1, gives up a single and follows up with a walk.

Edit
Armstrong comes on in relief and promptly throws one to the backstop and runners advance.

Edit
Sac fly scores 1 for UTM. 2 outs

Edit
Armstrong gets the k for out 3.

AU 3-1 headed to bottom of 6th.

We are about right landing somewhere between 5-6 innings per start especially in early March. Get 3-4 weekends in conference play and you hope you get a couple guys that can give you around 6-7. Remember these college hitters aren’t striking out a lot and in some case foul off a couple pitches before getting punched out.
