Never should have been in the game, should have been over in the 9th with better decision making or not a donkey at bat. Stayed up until 230 for that ridiculous ending

Agreed. If we take care of business Hetzler is never in the game.

Coaching and batters could have easily won it with 2 on, no outs in bottom of the 9th.
I don’t disagree that we should have bunted in that situation but would the result have been any different if Steele has that same at bat with runners on 2b and 3b with 1 out?

I have no idea what happens if we bunt. Bunt game on the line you aren’t trying to just get an out. You trying to stop that runner from getting to 3rd so who knows if a bunt works out for the good.
Cooper over swung on the first pitch in my opinion go himself behind in the count. Nice easy stroke on that pitch gets a little lift and a sac fly and Bub over to 3rd and probably Irish to second since they would be trying to stop Bub from getting to 3rd.
The pitching change - yes Graves was dealing but he had already thrown his career high if he had gone out and given up 3 runs the next inning you’re kind of damned if you do and damned if you don’t.
The last inning stuff didn’t lose the game. The 6 runs in the first four innings did. Good to see the boys fight back and get a chance to win in the end but we are in a very tough spot now. It’s do or die.

Hell of a game. Execution with men in scoring position bites us in the arse again. Phenomenal plays by their 2b in the 9th and 10th to seal it. Both of those hits could have been game winners if he doesn’t make those diving catches.

That’s right. The 2nd baseman made really good baseball plays
We know we can hit so let’s win 2

Biggest blunder was not bunting with runners on first and second with zero outs in the bottom of the 9th inning.
bunt the guys over, intentional walk to load the bases, profit.

They don’t get to 7 without the first 6 you idiot. You’re one of the worst fans ever. Always looking to blame a coach or player for a loss but celebrate like you did something when the teams wins.

You mean they had to score 6 runs before they scored the 7th? There wasnt a 7 run homerun?

Hard to bunt your 2nd best hitter when a base hit wins it. I don’t question the call. The line out in the 10th was a base running error. That was an easy play

lol. Of course I am. Anyway. Enjoy the game loser.
If you were a major league coach in the playoffs would you bunt a player with 2 on down 1 in extra innings with 40 home runs on the season? Just a hypothetical question

Rembert grounds out to third to open. Decent at bat though. Bub Ks swinging and his struggles at the plate continues. Ike walks and we have the first baserunner of the day.
0-0 T1. One on two out for Coop.

If it were Ike, you swing away. There is no one else on this line up I would give the nod to swing away in a 2/3 series for a chance to go to the College World series. Bunt the fricking ball. Do your job. Move the runners into scoring position and put the pressure on their pitcher.
The would have intentionally walked the next guy and it would have been bases loaded, 1 out, for the fricking win. That is what I would want as a major league coach

Coop Ks to end the frame. This kid is nasty.
0-0 B1. Hope Andreas can give us what we got last Sunday today.

Cooper is on pace to hit 40 home run if we played 162 games. Plus he hits about 40 percent points higher than most 40 homerun hitters in the majors. No major league coach would have bunted Cooper. So like I said you prove daily you’re an idiot.
