Good riddance to that kid. You didn’t want the offer yet you were committed for 9 months before Bama showed interest? Get out of here

Good on Malzahn and staff for pulling the offer

We need to do this more often.

Hope he enjoys his grey shirt

Grew up there... my folks still live there. It’s not a bad town at all, especially the lake.

Spann doesn't currently have an offer. There was some confusion between him and the coaches. He's being evaluated.. but I would expect an offer to go out.

I know we keep hearing that 25 is the cap.. but is it 25 plus room for a couple of transfers like it usually is? If so couldn't those be used if someone like Broderick Jones or McKinnley wants in?

Did this come from Keith? It’s too late at night for me to go look.

By my calculations it’s the latter but appears Gus plans on holding two aside for transfers.

About an hour after they said he had an offer KN learned that it’s not truly committable at this time

I spent a lot of time there many years ago. Back when the Russell plants were up and running. On the lake too if you might have guessed. I know that lake very very well. Fished there when the water color changed daily.

Was the first place I had ever saw a Super Walmart. Also had a guy try to rob me at the gas station in front of the Jameson Inn. Fun times. Remember the all you can eat seafood restaurant on the river. Got fat there

There was no reason to jerk us around like he did. Glad we finally pulled his offer and ruined his moment.

With Cohen off the board and Buskey remaining an unlikely signee we’ll have at least 6 spots to fill 1. Tisdol 2. Flax 3. George 4. Pegues

Based on us evaluating Gregg Spann I'd say we're pretty desperate to offer another QB. So if you add him or another qb plus those you listed we would be full with 1 spot left for maybe a grad transfer

The Problem with your list plus a qb is leaves us taking only one 4* DT and 1 OT who can contribute immediately.

I'm not questioning RG though

I guess it depends on if getting called a 13 year old girl is "getting shite".

Regardless, I'm glad we grew a pair.

Admittedly, I skipped over that post I think you got shat on there

I’m glad we cut bait too. There was no risk in trying to recruit him back though. And per Bama’s 247, it was essentially this past week where the bottom really fell out for Auburn.

Ultimately the coaches had a limit and I think after the weekend, even the holdouts like me, reached that limit too.

On the flip side — it’s not often that kids who make 3 commitments in 6 months end up turning out.

While not a 4* We are recruiting Foster Allen as a DT so that's at least 2 we have.

Can’t find it posted here, but 4* OT Josh Braun decommitted from UGA.

He appears headed to UF. But this is kinda the reason a lot of folks believe Broderick Jones is up for grabs now. The OL machine there really had little to do with the entire program

Right. It also seems like a calculated risk on the part of RG. With a 5* DT on board for 2021 and a 5* DE heavily leaning our way we can be a little pickier for 2020 than it says to be on paper.
