Thats very good news on Coynis, Ellitor. Wonder if Newkirk will finally be healthy in the fall, kid sure has gone through the ringer with grades, JC, and two injuries, I hope so.

We are somewhat thin at DT. We are going to need all of Coynis, Newkirk, & Truesdell to contribute.

Tank Bigsby is back in Auburn. KN says Gus is all in and Auburn is very much in it.

Apparently Tank has been in Auburn three times the past week.

Haynes King’s visit should be ending soon.

KN doesn’t have much scoop on how the visit went, but did say it’s no coincidence that WR Zevion Capers is also there given he’s soon to commit.

Javion Cohen is in Auburn helping recruit.

Who did KN CB Groce to?

To a question mark. Despite what was said, Groce is not on the top of our board.

With the weekend guys leaving, four guys from Miami Palmetto are stopping by. Busy weekend for sure.

2021 5* DT Leonard Taylor
2021 4* CB Jason Marshall
2021 4* CB Corey Collier
2021 3* WE Kentron Poitier

Probably won’t get an interview. He’s with Gus before he leaves and Dilly is taking him to the airport. KN says he thinks this comes down to UT and AU. Says that some intel suggests A&M is in it too

KN on linebacker numbers:
quote:

Auburn's plan is to take three linebackers. The exception would be if a fourth guy wanted in who was what the staff considered an elite recruit

We may finish with Tisdol, or could grab Tisdol plus one of Steiner/Webb if we can get either one of those players.

Add another 2021 guy to today’s visitor list:

2021 5* DE Dylan Brooks (Roanoke, AL)

I guess we feel good about Tisdol? I read where he's waiting until December before making a decision. He also stuns very eager to earn an FSU offer.

I don't feel confident about Steiner with him waiting on the Stanford offer. I can't remember us ever winning a head to head when Stanford came calling.

It's going to be interesting to see how that 3rd slot gets filled. I was kinda hoping Groce would be that guy.

KN says Auburn is probably still team to beat even if FSU offers. BUT, if Tisdol really wants an FSU offer, I’d trust my own gut before KN. Nothing against KN but there must be some infatuation there.

We still may get Groce, but that means we missed on our top three backers left which is generally not preferable for me personally.

Auburn feels good about JUCO OTs Coffey and Zierer as well as Jeremiah Wright. They’d like 2 of 3, it looks like.

Buskey has been offered by Bama now as well as A&M. Something to keep an eye on

Sounds like a solid oline class, would we take another interior lineman as well?

For Clarification the way Keith phrased it was there is a spot for 1 of Tisdol or Steiner & looks to be 1st come 1st serve. Webb is the elite LB AU would take in the class regardless.

We should, IMO. I discussed this a few pages back and I’ll try to find it and repost

With wanting 6-7 total in the class it seems likely we would take a 3rd interior OL.

Jonesy do you think we're done taking inside guys on the OL? I know we are still recruiting Bass and Chris Morris... MML was a longshot and James Robinson was far down out list, but an option. I think we could be done there and just focus on picking up a couple more OTs.

Depends. Is Johnson a center? Is Osborne a T? If so, we’re a little thin there. I see why they might want another one

Guards
Johnson
Jernigan
K Jones
Osborne
Bell
Irvin
T. Manning (sr)
Alec Jackson (sr)

So we get Cohen plus possibly the three top ranked JC tackles in the country. Boy that sure will put the mind at ease given where we were, thats really nice. really nice. This class is shaping up quite nicely.
