King seems like a long shot
From what little I read yesterday it seemed like KN thinks we're in a good spot with him. Def a long shot, but doable.
A few years ago we we're struggling recruiting QBS.. Its why we ended up with Stidham in the first place. Glad to see we have turned that around. Now to just get the OL to protect them..
And another offer went out lol. '21 DL Donell Harris. 247 list him as the number 4 player overall in the class. No clue where we actually stand with him though.

2021 5* DE Dylan Brooks from Roanoke is visiting this weekend

Grad Transfer WR Zach Farrar is visiting today and tomorrow.
He committed to OU out of high school and redshirted there. Then enrolled at Mississippi Gulf Coast. Then he went to Youngstown
He’s listed at 6-4 205 on their roster. Curious as to how our staff even knows about him

"Curious as to how our staff even knows about him"
Because,,, he is a WR, not a meaningless OT.

It’s actually pretty amazing how many WRs and QBs (that we don’t need) have visited over the off-season. I know we had a grad transfer guard from Georgia Tech visit but outside of that I’m not sure I’ve seen any other mention of OL

Gus has always had a fascination with WR's it seems. I think it peaks his play design interest. He see's a WR with a certain singular skill set but can see an exactly play design for that one skill set that the WR is the only real target on the play. So he wants that WR.

Its definitely clear there's a fascination with WRs for whatever reason. We take more looks at WRs than any other position, but we actually have talented guys and pretty good depth at the position. Maybe all those WRs are the ones reaching out first?
In their defense it was slim pickings this year for grad transfer OL. There was maybe a handful of guys worth taking. At that point its either flip someone like Jackson to OT or pick up a guy who will most like get buried on the depth chart.

Two reason. 1) WRs (and DBs) are easy ways to bump up recruiting rankings.
2) we lost our blocking WR and screen WR. Gus is lost without those two postions

It doesnt matter. Gus has allowed Dabo to completely lockdown our main recruiting territory. I don't see more than 8-10 wins until Saban or Dabo quit.

Myles Murphy picked Clemson as expected.
Desmond Tisdol got his 4th star. "The move – Tisdol has made the leap up into the Top150 nationally and we feel like he has the ceiling to continue to climb. He also moves inside the top 20 in the state of Georgia according to 247Sports. Auburn and South Carolina both hold Crystal Ball predictions for the 6-0, 215-pounder."
Javion Cohen got his 4th star as well. "The move – Cohen is up to a four-star with a 90 rating and outside the Top247. Because he’s an up-trending player with more physical maturation in front of him, there’s some runway for a continued ranking rise with the right development. Cohen decommitted from South Carolina in April."

Why are we battling USCe for like 4 kids? They seem to be on to a solid class

They recruited and got commits early from some undervalued/ under scouted guys.. Its why I don't worry when I see a bunch of 3* players show up on our offer list early.

It looks like we may have a shot at some big time guys in 2021 if we can have a good season this year.

He will probably play inside, that means Clemson got the four top ranked DTs in this class....that is sick.
How can you have three on board and Murphy still choses them, Im in awe. And 4 four star recruits on the OL to boot.

Doesn't hurt to have made Gus look like a blubbering idiot on every meet. . . while kicking Saban's arse 44-16 on the big stage.

Their player development has been outstanding too. They can easily sell the NFL dream

Is it me or is the 2020 class not looking good for us?
