We are in the mix for a 6 foot receiver transferring from WV.
As of now it’s unclear if Marcus Simms is a GT or regular transfer.
Had some big stats last year.
Could be a battle between us and Maryland

Only May but we’ve had nothing but bad news since Evans committed. We’ve had 3 top 250 guys decommit from the class and we’re probably going to watch Myles Murphy pick Clemson over us on Friday.

We’re usually about half done at the start of the season. We’re behind other schools by a wide margin and probably slightly behind our usual pace. This class just feels different, though.

Onto good news
Trenton Simpson is OV’ing June 1 (Big Cat weekend). He’s a top 100 guy. 4* OLB and he grew up in Fort Benning, GA before moving to NC.
Mom loves Auburn. Trenton really likes TWill. He wants to make a decision before senior year and we’re up against UGA, Tennessee, and NC.

OT Javion Cohen is setting officials this week. He says AU, LSU, and OU are getting OVs.

4* WR EJ Williams set up a OV to Auburn for June 23rd. He says the coaches are showing him that they really want him and that it’s a good feeling.
He said he will OV Clemson but that’s not scheduled yet. He has plans to announce August 24th. Florida is a real wild card here.

KN CB’d 4* Ethan Pouncey to AU. KN says he likes where Auburn is right now and doesn’t think that Florida’s recent decommits help their position with Pouncey.
