Shame he didn't say that on page 420.

Gus' lack of QB development is over played.

Well people shite on Gus for QB development AND QB eval/scouting. Not sure Sean Payton could coach up some of our HS QBs

quote:

Lincoln Riley, who is considered a QB guru, has only won with transfer QBs

I see your point, but Riley took castoffs and turned them into Heisman winners and potential top NFL draft picks. You can point towards clear QB/ passing development

Gus' transfer QBs didn't show nearly the same passing improvement as Riley's did

frick. For real? I was hoping this kid would play, but I guess the writing was on the wall. Not sure how a kid from Pell City, AL is gonna make it in fricking Boulder, CO. It’s a big transition.

Downtown Boulder takes a bit to get used to but the campus is pretty normal and 5 miles out is rural just like Auburn.

Auburn sent the whole coaching staff to Maurice Hampton’s house tonight. Sounds like that meant a lot to him. It also sounds like Auburn is outworking LSU for his signature

We spent a week in Boulder touring the college for my youngest. It isn’t PellCity, AL. The people there are fricking awful. No other way to describe it. The school sucked. I wish we had gone to Colorado Springs to see CSU, but they didn’t have a good medical program.

They just imposed a fricking sugar tax there. Not sure how Jaunty is gonna keep his weight up.

Unfortunately for you, you wouldn’t have found CSU in Colorado Springs. That’s in Fort Collins.

Forgot you’re the dude that hates Boulder. Glad your kid found a place he loved but to dismiss the city because of the people is a little simple. It’s a beautiful area that certainly beats to a left drum but as a guy from the Deep South I’ve never had a bad time there I don’t know Jaunty but it sounds like he visited and didn’t mind the soda tax

Ft Collins. Damn it.

We loved Denver. People there were great. But yeah, hated Boulder.

I’m in Denver. Glad you liked it here at least We’ve had some bad luck with crappy weather on the weekends lately. I’ve had to go north or south to get the bike out on dry roads.

KN put out a new class projection.. He predicted we would get Kamaar Bell, MAR, Pickens, Moore, Brothers, Dylan Jordan (I personally really like this kid),Jammie Robinson, and Kam Brown... That leaves one spot for either Jamon Gordon, Dawand Jones, or another name we haven't heard yet.

Flew into Denver to drive out to Aspen a couple years back. Actually spent a night in Aurora and went to Ft. Collins too.

But that 3.5 hour drive from Denver to Aspen is one of the most beautiful things I’ve seen. Through Vail and Breckinridge and seeing snow-capped mountains and the Colorado River. Was amazing.

*ETA* One night driving back from Downtown Aspen to our lodge in Snowmass Village we took a dark back road...and I swear to Christ I saw a herd of the biggest idkwtf on this road...it was too dark to make them out, but it was reindeer or elk or something. Sure I was high, but I saw what I saw...
