Kinda feel like our ceiling with a pocket passer is probably 2017.
Folks that are excited about Gatewood or Willis should probably look at Gus’s actions on Bryant, Hurts, and now this kid. Doesn’t scream confidence in what he has on hand

True. But we also know that Gus can't scout his own team, so his opinion of his own talent is shite. Don't know what to think really.

Or the writings on the wall for one of them and they’re gonna transfer after spring... and th coaches want to keep 4 scholarship qbs on the roster.
I think a lot of times we read too much into coach’s actions during recruiting... remember that grad transfer OT from Butler we offered at the last minute?... that was bc the coaches knew Tega was leaving early for the draft. Come to find out, that wasn’t the case.

Could be. We are going after GTs here though. I don’t think Gus trusts his own development.

Well then why did we go after the kid from Butler?

Gus' lack of QB development is over played. This is a standard problem. Lincoln Riley, who is considered a QB guru, has only won with transfer QBs. His strategy seems to be effective.

Funny how players and media members that got to watch a little bit of scrimmages rave about how dynamic Gatewood is then.

I don’t care as much about QB development as long as we can throw developed QBs out there. Using the transfer market is no big deal. We have inexperienced QBs on our roster though and we are still scouring the transfer market and not really the favorite for any one of them. If we don’t bring any QBs in, we are right back to where we were: the development of either Nix, Gatewood, or Willis.

Yeah no kidding.
I don’t really care how we get our QBs

Jauntavious Johnson is headed to Colorado. We seem to be losing a lot of transfers to that state.

Three-star offensive lineman Kamaar Bell said Auburn is his No. 1 choice right now -- by a "huge" margin. Tigers don't have to do anything else to impress him before NSD, but he'll choose between them Miami, FSU and Louisville

Just watched Griffin’s highlights again. This kid is a pure RB in my opinion. He’s been one of my favorites from the get go. Glad we got him on campus, and I for one hope we push for him.
