As of today it sounds like Mark-Antony Richards / DJ Williams is Auburn's most likely RB class. Williams visit to UGA this weekend is something to watch tho

Some random dude on the bunker is saying that a big time DL committed somewhere else is expected on campus this weekend
Take that for whatever it's worth which will probably not be much

It is clearly Travon Walker or Nathan Pickering. Duh.

I’m not sure which one, but one of them are Auburn locks. Zacch is just a gym warrior, anyways.

My best guess is maybe Justin Eboigbe but he's expected to take an OV to Bama
Honestly not sure who it could be. The AL/MS All-Star Game is going on so it won't be Pickering or Moore. Mohamoud Diabate (more of a LB but if you called Buck a DL could work) also at that game. Maybe Travon Walker or Nolan Smith? Doubt it
More than likely it will be nobody but what's a last OV weekend without a rumored super secret visitor?

The difference between the DTs and DEs with what we’re running now is that our true DEs are better athletes that can get to the sideline
Who also struggle with getting an effective passrush. Hence why we had so much trouble with 3rd and long this season, we cant rush the passer. We are back to wheee we were under Garner before Muschamp got us a few passrushers

Can you post our 3rd down defense rank? And what our defense ranked in sacks?

Yes. Tennessee 30- Auburn 24

Yep I figured you wouldn’t

Eh, we have routinely struggled rushing just 4 recently. Outside of Dee Ford and Lawson and Holland, our DL has had some struggles getting pressure with just them. I’m not saying you’re wrong, there is just also some truth to Barannigan’s post.

We are probably a 10 win team right now if Jeff Holland had come back. Lack of an edge rusher killed this team against LSU and UT.

I get your point but I feel like when an "outside of" includes 3 names all of which were near the top the league in sacks it's a bit of a stretch
Having to rely on blitz to get 3rd down pressure was definitely an issue this year. Still think one of Course/Bryant/Moultry/Jibunor will step up next year
AU hoping to add Hall with Colby Wooden as well

That doesn’t surprise me but it says a lot considering the DL in that MS class. He’s got a NFL frame and a lot of athleticism.
Garner said he may be the best in the bunch, of the DL coming out of MS this year. In the guy's tape, a couple of things stand out. As you said Mr. Jones, the guy is friggin cat quick for someone his size. Second, he actually tackles. So many of these big guys bust through the line, grab the runner by the jersey and sling them down. He wraps up and tackles, nice to see....and he likes dogs...

Are we not going after any interior defensive lineman?
Handy and Gordon are projected inside, both were close to 280 before they even started their senior year. Wooden strong side end and Hall buck.
If Moore flipped he could play inside as well.
Darn if that would not be one friggin awesome DL.

We have a serious BUCK problem. This past season, we didn't have a single Dee Ford, Jeff Holland, sho nuff pass rush specialist. We have a bunch of 280lb DE/DT hybrids that can't get to the freaking QB... Call me crazy but deep down we all have to acknowledge this issue.

Big Kat is pretty much the exact size you would want out of a Buck, he just wasn’t as effective at getting to the passer. TD is a little short, but he’s around 250 as well.
Rushing the passer is an art. Hoping it clicks for both of them this year.
