That rule should be changed considering the pace of recruiting now being faster than ever.

We really need to slow this down. Think of the players' safety

Huh? To my knowledge there is no player safety issues with camps.

I know it is a running joke about your inability to read sarcasm...but I can't tell if your sarcasm meter is still broke or if mine is acting up...lol

You're right. It was sarcasm. It was so dry and corny though that I missed it. :rimshot:

I like how we've gone from not knowing if he was going to visit in the Spring or Summer to him visiting 2 times within a month when he comes back on April 18th. If he's not staying 2 days though I wish he would come back for the A-Day game on the 19th instead
I don't see why he would come the day before the spring game and leave. My assumption is he's visiting for the weekend. Has he said he wasn't?

No he hasn't. I am leaning that he will though because many prospects are visiting multiple schools each weekend. TG has done this as well. He has not stayed at any stop for more than a day. Also with our and Bama's A-Day the same day some prospects have said they will visit one school on Friday or Saturday morning and then to the other's A-Day. I know Bama does not have an affect on TG. Just saying kid's have said they will visit a couple of schools on Spring game weekends.

To be fair, almost all of his visits were on a spring break tour, so he was trying to see as many schools as possible. Also, he may be leaving en route to AU on that friday, get here late, and do most of his visit stuff on Saturday. We'll find out soon enough. Like you said, I'm just glad he's coming back again so soon

You have to think with our offense and staff we are in good shape for him. I don't really see the vols as a huge theat even though he says he likes them. I don't know what they have to offer a 6'5 dual threat qb

One thing I take from the situation is that I can't see both Jennings and Gibson going to UTk. I would prefer TG but JJ is an Elite athlete himself.

Since TG has repped a lot this Spring at WR at camps I think he is more open to playing wherever than JJ. I could see Vols getting both.

As for what the Vols can provide an athletic QB, Better opportunity as earlier PT since their QB sitch ain't stacked.

An Oline that could showcase his escape abilities because he will be running for his life every down.

Not Auburn related but Malik McDowell 4*/5* DE finally signed his LOI to Michigan State after his parents initially refused to sign for MSU.

That was a long arse wait. We love Michigan State too so I'm glad they worked that out

You assume too much. I am very thankful they beat tOSU giving the opportunity to play for the Natty but I overall really don't care about them. The only time I have a rooting interest in their games is when they play tOSU, Meeeeechigan, and the program known as the former powerhouse Notre Dame. The interest is due solely to loathing those 3 teams

So you love them?

Just an interesting recruiting story. Feel bad for the kid that it dragged on that long

I think I read somewhere that Butch Jones has hinted that TG would start, and I believe it was backed up with a tweet from TG insinuating the same.

I don't remember where I read it, so I might have my recruits and teams mixed up.

TG comes from a big school in FL, therefore I'm sure his HS coach will inform him about coaches that promise jobs and how he shouldn't listen to those.

We do, but they kinda hate us. Lots of pissy breeches about SEC bias when we slipped into #2.

Haters gonna hate

Love big LB like that. Still want Quarterman first and foremost until I see someone better name us their leader. This is a position where we should NEVER BE THIS BAD, EVER AGAIN!

If Butch Jones can't put it together this year, I imagine his recruitnig class will start to fall apart
