Completely unrelated, but I heard word a week or so ago that Jakell Mitchell may actually be able to play this year if his rehab goes well.
He was originally thought to be 100% out for the season

Welp, I missed that
All I know is some guys that know him said his rehab was coming along faster than originally intended and if he kept at it at the pace he's at, he'd see the field at some point before the playoffs

Suddenly 247 seems way more legit than any other service. We should ignore the composite entirely; it's clearly biased.

I was mostly joking about our rankings being higher on 247 than on the composite. It would be interesting to go back in a couple years and try to see which did better overall.

Allie Davidson got hacked on the bunker I think. Someone said Milnewd edited an old post and posted it under her or something. I'm not real sure how these things happen, so take it with a grain of salt.

TIFWIW but starting to hear rumblings of Clark to Bama if he commits soon.

Why anyone that could play safety wouldn't commit to Auburn right now with the depth we have there is just beyond me. I understand we're selling him on the star, but he could probably start at safety by the time he's a soph.

Hard to turn down Alabama right now with the roll they're on and the ability to compete with some of the best in the nation for playing time. For some guys it really shows their competitveness to see the depth at Alabama and still want to go there knowing they don't have a guaranteed spot to start.

He is gonna flip after he commits, so let him start with bama.

Does not surprise me if Clark commits to Bama. Bama puts guys in the league and its an easy sell. Not for AU right now have to prove alot this year and hopefully we can.

Meh... They put guys they do not weed out of their system in the league. Otherwise you are just part of the "process". I would love to have that problem at Auburn. Keep scholarship numbers confident by utilizing a state privacy law. Sign the maximum amount of players every year regardless if you have 2 or 25 open spots. Hold a minicamp in the spring to weed out the first set that doesn't pan out compared to other talent on the field. Host the final minicamp in the fall and issue "medical hardships" for those who want continue their free education while freeing up scholarships to get the numbers right before kickoff! Motherfukers got a great system in place in T-town.
