why not CM?

Because I have a stronger arm than CM and I consider my arm strength sucky.

I think Wallace can be a good quarterback. He has heart and is a competitor. Lets start with that and put a decent plan in place around him. Loeffler was such a fricking train wreck that its difficult to take the measure of anybody other than Frazier, who was pathetic.

Like Tubs and Franklin, I don't put the blame on the OC on this. Loeffler could have been a good hire, no one will really know since he was hamstrung out of the gate and a certain coach had his hands too deep to allow Loeffler to do his job.

But I agree that Wallace could be a really good quarterback for us. He and Mason had enough heart to not give up even when we were being destroyed.

Why does he deserve a shot?
Because other than Wallace and possibly Moseley, there's not another scholarship QB on our roster for Spring.

His 'shot' will be proving he's not as bad playing against his teammates in April than he was playing against real teams last fall. If he sucks as badly under those circumstances as you seem to think, then he won't be a candidate for the job in August.

I don't know how we didn't make this comparison right when he was hired. Change of style without change of assistants. Fool me twice...

If there's one thing we know we can credit to Leoffler its signing Wallace so that's a plus.

I don't know but it seems Kiehl Frazier wasn't given much rope his freshman year but to run and run some more and he showed that he has the wheels then this year happened and to me it just seemed he was trying to prove himself as a passer and in turn he held the ball way too long before he would decide to run, made terrible reads and stared down his intended target. The times he decided to run early whether by design or broken plays he showed he has still got the wheels. I just won't to hold my judgement on him given the circumstances he was in. With that said I hope they redshirt Jeremy Johnson but if they don't then that will be a for sure sign alot of you guys were right on the money about your assessment of KF.

I'm also excited to see what Jonathan Wallace can do in CGM's offense. At the end of the day I will stand behind whoever he assigns the starting QB job to. Just hope we don't see a 2 QB rotation because that is just too difficult to get any kind of consistency from the offense. Just my two cents.
