And just like that our undefeated season ends....

Couldn't get at least a sac fly with bases loaded and one out. Really sucks for Koger who had an incredible game. I feel like this always happens to him

Decent weekend for AU baseball. Hoping Coop can use that double in today's game to propel him out of the slump he's been in. Tella is performing as expected. Bullpen is filthy and possibly the deepest pen in the conference. Still looking for that 3rd weekend guy after Rocky's bad outing today.

Hoping Wingenter gets his chance to toss the rock on Tuesday against Kennesaw St.

Losing 7-0 to Kennesaw because of -- what else? -- errors.

Same crap, different year.

I won't be able to put into words the excitement I'll experience when Jacobs gets canned.

Had the bases loaded twice and couldn't get across a run. Pawlowski coached teams always under perform in midweek games and it's ridiculous.

Couldn't agree more, but we all knew this was going to happen. We're 4 or 5 years into Pawlowski's regime. We know what his teams are going to look like.

We know what the eventual results are going to be any time Jacobs makes a hire.

I just can't believe he kept his job. What a freakin' joke.

ETA: And I meant to ask... did we try to squeeze with the bases loaded? You know, Pawlowski's favorite offensive play?

1. Jay Jacobs needs to be relieved of his duties because of the performance and output of the Athletic Department he runs with regard to win/loss and rankings. Let me just state that clear for the record.

2. The hire of Pawlowski at the time was regarded by most as a very good to GREAT hire. He was a hot commodity due to his production at CoC, making three consecutive NCAA Regionals and 2004-05 and winning his conference in 2006. (He slipped to 2nd in 2007.)

3. The only BAD hire he can be said to have made *at the time the coach was hired* was Gene Chizik. All the other coaches he has hired have come with excellent reputations and previous success.

So to say that "we know what the eventual results are going to be any time Jacobs makes a hire" is very convenient hind-site. You likely weren't saying that four or five years ago. And if you were, you were in a significant minority.

Rubber match against EIU tomorrow at 1pm. Koger get screwed out of another W on Friday and almost blew a lead on Saturday to cost Mike O'Neil. Hopefully we can start strong and finish a game without much drama Sunday.
