So apparently Arkansas has some of the best public schools in America

I was pretty confused myself but take a win when you can get one. (even if it is yahoo) Yahoo is to news what Bleacher Report is to sports.

Then what are they basing this on??

Sounds like AR schools are good for teachers, not for kids wanting future life success.

It gives AR a lot of credit for having high standards. However, we aren't meeting them

Most other states have low standards and they routinely meet them. Then they proclaim "we met our proficiency goals" but never tell anyone what they really are

Beebe has increased spending per student. I think it will take time to see improvement. Our kids aren't any dumber in terms of ACT scores...
