Realistically, what the shite is taking so long

We are now beyond the antsy stage and into full panic.
All the dominoes are falling around us, and yet, we have virtually zero credible reports of anything going on.
Simple reason would say that if it were musselman, he would have already been announced or real reports would be all over from national guys.
The guy hasn't coached in a game in damn near 2 weeks.
If it were Marshall, the story would be similar. Reports from wichita would begin to surface that Marshall was either unhappy or he had met with Someone.but literally all we have really connecting him to Arkansas is one screenshots saying a UA plane went to NYC Monday night.
Sampson it appears was actually never even in play at all, and we know Beard is not coming.
So what's the hold up? Hell A&M-Buzz reports have bee around for days. Alabama hired a guy in like 2 days.
Even UCLA now has a coach it seems in Dixon and Thad Matta to UNLV.
The only legitimate reason this is taking so long is either we really do have a "Big name" still playing (which we know isn't really true) or behind the scenes it is an absolute and total disaster.
If this whole thing ends with Richard Pitino or Jans, we know the latter is 100% correct.

Yep. I got an uneasy feeling about it, but I don't know shite so I'll just let things play out before hitting the panic button.

I feel like there’s countless things that could be happening. We could still be negotiating over numbers/buyouts, the rest of the coaching staff, which neighborhood the coach gets a new house in, etc.
Or Yurachek could be off today like I am eating McDonald’s and playing PS4.

I've already given up hope we're gonna get any of our targets. UCLA is already settling for Jamie Dixon they've struck out so many times as well. We are 99.9% fricked and are well on our way to hiring another John Pelphrey.

Doesn't the job have to be posted for so many days before we can hire someone? Ive heard 10 days mentioned before. That would put it at Friday before a hire could be made.
This instant gratification mentality society has really makes these searches fun. Searches take time. You don't fire one guy and then hire another the next day.

Usually when we are rejected by a coach it is fairly public. No coach has even officially confirmed to have been offered by Arkansas. It’s not fair to say we’re striking out yet.

I was being tounge in cheek but if Coach K or Popavich come calling after you fire a head coach anyone is going to say yes and hire them immediately the next day.

I get it, but the University has fudged every football and basketball hire except Petrino since the '90s. The fans feel optimism, followed immediately by a bout of PTSD.
