That reporter did say shite.
I used to work at that station in the mid 2000s. One time a reporter referred to a bank robbery suspect as "colored," and I don't think she was ever made aware of it.
Also, I will take face shrinking requests from anyone. Just give me a decent picture and I'll go to work. I feel like this is my talent to share with the world.

No, I was out shooting during the 6 o'clock newscast, but I came back around 8 to see Frank (who at the time was the only black reporter in NWA on TV, I believe) watching the replay channel on Cox channel 55. It just replayed the newscast every thirty minutes. He says to me
I got a call after the six cast. I answer, "This is Frank," and the guy on the other end says "Oh, I'm glad I got you Frank. Let me ask you, what color is colored? Because I watched the news tonight and your reporter said the police are looking for a bank robber that's about six foot tall, 180 pounds and colored, and I want to know what I need to be looking for." And I tell him, there's no way she said colored, but I'd look into it. And I watched the replay. And she said colored, but I didn't believe it. I watched it again. Colored. Katherina-Marie Yancy / Craft the girl who works at THV is a life long friend of mine. we used to mess around years ago.. though it never got too serious i used to date her best friend. i knew that girl in Jr high school. we stated good friends until she pissed me off for the last time about what now.. 3 years ago and we went our ways. long story. still keep in touch from time to time just to say hi. She still has y fricking dog as well which i am sure i am never going to get back. i dont' think he wants to come back at this point.

Don't worry about humanity. I pulled this off facebook from someone who works at a rival NWA news organization. It's pretty common for TV stations to record the competition's show to make sure they didn't miss anything.
How do you think Craig Cannon's tooth falling out wound up on the Internet? I know it was someone at one of the TV stations, and I'm betting it was one of his coworkers.
