Mike is still responsible for this shitty team.
Head coaches should always burden the majority of the responsibility even if it isn't all their fault. Exception would be the first couple of years on the job.

First 4 game consecutive skid since Pel's last year.

Sadly he will get next year because they are convinced justice hill is the savior

He might get one more year, he might not. Yurachek could make a move after this season if things keep getting worse.

Dude needs to give up shooty hoops, and walk on to try and play DB. He has no shot of playing professionally in shooty hoops, but has the athleticism to make it in football.

I keep hearing from different people that he will be asked to retire if he doesn't make a postseason tournament. Don't know how accurate that is or if he would even want to do that.

I highly doubt he'll retire with three years left on his contract, he would make them fire him and collect the buyout. It would be $3 million if they fired him after this season.

But, they could give him the 3 million, or some part thereof... and him resign.
I doubt it happens as well, nothing easy comes to Arkansas athletics.

Oh, I'm not saying he would just walk away. They would agree to reduce it in that situation.

If it hasn’t been said yet, screw you Jeff Long and your horrible contract extensions.
Had he not extended him last year we’d be clear to can him in March.

We can't afford $3 Million?
What would it be after next season? That isn't that much regardless.

From what I remember, it should be $1 Million per year left on his contract. Not sure what date starts a new year though so that could be important.

Interestingly enough, Nolan had just turned 60, when it got ugly enough for us to fire him. It came out later that he had clearly lost the fire and that basically Mike had been running practices for the prior few years. Nolan was basically done after that. Mike turns 60 this year. Lots of coaches coach longer than that, but it's not outside of the realm of possibility for him to at least consider retirement
