Doug Case was promoted to associate head coach of the men's team this week. For those that don't know what that means, Case is Bucknam's Melvin.

More in the they’ve been buddies for years and he really doesn’t add anything to the table type way.

Is Bucknam just pulling a Mike and digging in now? It seems like he's doubling down on stupid if that promotion is akin to Melvin.

I hope Hunter either lays down the law to him or tells him to hit the bricks.

There are upper echelon programs at Arkansas that can fall into a lull, basketball being the prime example, and we're not happy about it, but understand how it can happen.

But for fricking track at the university of Arkansas, not competing for natty's every year is simply unacceptable at all.

It can't happen. You have the model! Use it! You are the greatest track program ever. It's like Tema USA not winning gold medals in swimming or track. It almost is impossible to happen.

The issue here is quickly becoming the same as basketball. Each year that goes by under Bucknam, the crop of kids that know Arkansas as a national power becomes smaller and smaller.

Like I said, the solution is to make some noise boys. Don’t have to be nasty, just have to be vocal. As a matter of fact, if several people started making well spoken eloquent arguments on social media, Hunter might listen. Once again, no ill will toward Bucknam, but we need a change.

Bucknam was seemingly a bizarre hire from the beginning. If I'm not mistaken, he was basically a mid-major guy with virtually no ties to the program and a good resume, but nothing astonishing, right?

Just felt like a typical, ball-less, Jeff Long hire of some guy that would toe the corporate line and do what he said.

You should basically have the pick of virtually any coach at any school here.

It's like coaching with the history and expectations of Alabama football, UCLA basketball, and USC Baseball all in one.

If you don't win titles, and lots of them, you gotta go.

Our women's team continue to perform at a high level. Our men continue to perform like they are high.

In Fayetteville, 20-year-old Jamaican Janeek Brown (@Jbne_) has clocked PBs of 12.57 in the 100m hurdles and 22.67 for 200m.

As far as I can tell, that's the second-best 100H/200 one-day double in history.

Pretty funny, I was busting out 6:20 miles tonight on the Mud Creek trail and ran past the men’s and women’s track teams from Miss. State as they were on the sidewalk by Noodles

Picked up the pace a little bit that mile

The wind is garbage today. If I were in charge, I might save the legs of my A-Team runners and try to get some qualifiers next week.

Men and women both take the team titles today. Really strong runs today in spite of the shitty weather (25mph wind). Too bad because it looks like the men are ready to make a breakthrough. Woo pig.
