Seeing elsewhere his family will be burying him in his #4 Hog jersey as requested by him.

That my friends is awesome.

Also the 1993 Mississippi Mr. Basketball. He got totally fricked over by the NCAA. We made the sweet 16 that year without him and Sunday.

That NCAA shite pretty much ruined it for Nolan IMO.

Yes. Even tho he was a hog for only a short time, he was a hog for life.

He is still one of the greatest to ever play ball in Mississippi.

The story goes that Nolan and Mike were in town to watch a guy on his team who was a couple years older (he was a sophomore), he went up to Nolan introduced himself and said "I want to be a Razorback".

The NCAA fricked him out of a chance at the NBA. He should have been given a high powered lawyer and sued the NCAA, which he would had won.

All because of Bama and Wimp who turned in Arkansas.

The NCAA's old guard wasn't happy with Nolan and Arkansas' rise to prominence either.

The NCAA's ban on JUCO recruiting done Nolan in, his strategy was to add ready to play JUCOs to compliment his freshmen and allow them to grow into their rolls. The old guard wasn't happy about Nolan's going around having a roster of 3-4 year players, which the irony is how the same ones have flocked to one and dones today...
