With the draft on Thursday, thought I'd make a thread for all baseball related news.
Will update this with our players drafted and their draft position/team, as well as our recruits that are committed.
Any possible coaching changes as well.

Shocked he lasted that long. I'm excited though because while I would have loved if he had gone to my Cards, the Rays are local so I can go watch him when he gets brought up

Teddy Stankiewicz went in the second so he's probably going to sign. Not a big surprise though.

Odds of him playing in a Rays uniform aren't great. Suggs could see the majors before Stanek, Miami is horrible and Tampa has a pretty nice rotation. I'd expect Stanek to be traded when he reaches AA or AAA.

Maybe, maybe not.
Pitchers get hurt a lot, especially in the minors, if Stanek is mowing people down you can't keep him down for long, he's a guy going into the draft that everyone said would be in the majors next year.
Rays are going to trade Price, also.
