Took 30 players on the trip and all will travel with the team to Alabama but only 27 can be on the official SEC travel roster. DVH said all position players will be on it. Same rotation as last weekend.

That game sucked but we looked more impressive than the Horns after that series. That experience will be good for our freshmen staff down the road

The inconsistent pitching looked contagious... no doubt the stage contributed heavily in that regard.
You know every one of those freshmen have pitched in showcase outings where they had 10x the command put on display last night.
Last night's game was about introducing them to the stage. A great setting to get that done in... obnoxious whorn fans and an ump with a moving strike zone.
Kudos to DVH... that outing will pay off down the road.

I agree completely.
And as poorly as we played down the stretch, we still probably could have/should have won.
Happy with the series.
And this is all with Martin and Kjerstad not firing just yet.

You play series like this on the road early on to get some hard won experience for your squad. I'd have preferred a sweep but I'll take splitting the series.
