Arkansas has extended a tenth instate offer for the Class of 2022 to Springdale (Ark.) Shiloh Christian linebacker Kaden Henley. The 6-1, 225-pounder went public with his big news at approximately 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon.

"It meant a lot. It's definitely my biggest offer that I have, and I can't believe that it happened," Henley said. "I talked to them on Coach Pittman's phone. It was Coach Pittman, Coach Scherer and Coach Odom on the call."

Henley, who holds other offers from Air Force, Liberty, Middle Tennessee State, Army, New Mexico and others, said a quick commitment is at least an option, but he'd rather take a little time to learn more about Arkansas' staff.

"It's definitely an option to do that, but I want to meet those guys in person and shake their hand," he said.

Henley, who recently broke the Shiloh Christian school record on power clean, has yet to receive a rating from 247Sports.

So far, the Razorbacks have landed commitments from four of their ten offered instate targets in Little Rock Parkview running back James Jointer, Greenland defensive end JJ Hollingsworth, DeWitt tight end Dax Courtney, and Maumelle four-star offensive lineman Andrew Chamblee. Jointer and Chamblee went public with their decisions last Saturday.

Arkansas also has verbal commitments from two out-of-state targets in offensive lineman Eli Henderson of Duncan (S.C.) Byrnes, and four-star athlete Rashod Dubinion of Ellenwood (Ga.) Cedar Grove.

The other instate offered targets include Fayetteville wide receiver Isaiah Sategna, Clarendon wide receiver Quincey McAdoo, Fayetteville linebacker Kaiden Turner, Maumelle defensive end Nico Davillier, and Joe T. Robinson offensive lineman E'Marion Harris.

Turner, who stopped hearing from the Razorbacks late last year, went public with his commitment to Indiana on Monday. His teammate, Sategna, committed to Texas A&M on Tuesday.

McAdoo has been committed to Florida State since January, but recent buzz suggests the Hogs are still very much in play for the playmaker.

The Razorbacks' 2022 class currently ranks 19th in the nation and fifth in the SEC.

The Razorbacks add commit number seven to the 2022 class on Wednesday night. Shiloh Christian two-way athlete Kaden Henley cashed in on his new scholarship offer just a few hours after receiving it.

"I felt like it was the best decision for me and I felt comfortable committing because of the type of people on staff at Arkansas," Henley said.

A regular old Wednesday turned into a pretty great day for Henley. The junior was called into his coach's office where he'd receive some life-changing news.

"Coach Conaway called me into his office, I had no idea what was happening, Coach Pittman, Coach Odom and Coach Scherer were all on the phone," Henley told Rivals. "They said, 'We want you to play football here and we're extremely excited about you.' It was awesome."

The linebacker/tight end/h-back undoubtedly caught Arkansas defensive coordinator Barry Odom's attention this season while Odom was watching his own son play for the Saints. The squad took it the distance and won the 4A state championship over Rivercrest.

Playing linebacker where the Razorbacks are recruiting him, Henley racked up 159 tackles (109 solo), 26 tackles for loss, four sacks, four interceptions and two forced fumbles with a recovery and one defensive touchdown.

"They like the physicality and the size that I have, and how hard I play," Henley said.

Programs like New Mexico, Navy, Liberty, Air Force and more began offering in February but the Arkansas offer was his first in the Power Five.

Henley isn't an Arkansas native like the majority of in-state prospects the Hogs have offered. Kaden's father Ashley Henley is the linebackers coach at Shiloh Christian and the family moved two years ago from Oklahoma. Despite not growing up a Hog fan, Henley said he's become more of one over time considering the university is just 10 minutes away.

"Arkansas is a great school with a great campus," Henley said. Those dudes are there for a reason, they're going to do a great job."

Henley becomes Arkansas's second commit on the defensive side of the ball, joining Greenland defensive lineman JJ Hollingsworth. He's also the fifth in-state commit out of 10 in-state prospects the Hogs have offered–running back James Jointer from Parkview, DeWitt tight end Dax Courtney and Maumelle defensive tackle Andrew Chamblee are the other three. Arkansas also has two out-of-state commits, Rivals 250 running back Rashod Dubinion and South Carolina center Eli Henderson.

Left on the board in-state for the Razorbacks are Robinson OL E'Marion Harris and Maumelle DT Nico Davillier. The Hogs are also still in hot pursuit of Clarendon ATH and Florida State commit Quincey McAdoo.

Hope Pittman is a good evaluator. That's a Houston Nutt looking commit. Just need to go buy a newspaper for Grit's fluff piece.

I'm a big Pittman fan, but some of the recruits aren't really exciting me.

I don't follow super close, so correct me if I'm wrong for being a little concerned.

Earlier this week, White tweeted out that he and his mother came to a decision on a school and that it’s now time to take over. Arkansas, Nebraska and Mississippi State are the three front-runners for the four-star defensive end from Decatur (Ga.) Cedar Grove. Many believe the Razorbacks could have the edge for White, who could commit by the end of this month.
