I don’t think he got any new offers after decommitting. I’m wondering if someone convinced him to look around and then he got slapped in the face by reality and realized he’d made a mistake.

Honestly lucky he still had the opportunity and probably if not for the future players and HC at his HS, it would've been a different story.

If the “reported 11 inch hands” is close to accurate then he’s got TE written all over him if QB doesn’t work out.

Yep the kid out of Greenland. Razor has a thread below for 22 recruiting but it hasn’t been stickied yet.

Well, Daggumit... Sorry!

Hogs land an out of the blue commit from Oklahoma WR Bryce Stephens. That now gives us 5 of the top 13 players in Oklahoma this cycle.

Is this result of the Ketron Jackson latest?
Oklahoma recruiting becoming the real story in this class.
edit:
Also wanted to add chronologically Bryce Stephens and Jaedon Wilson were two of the very early offers from Stepp so he trusts his evaluations. The player following those two was Ketron Jackson.

That’s what it sounds like. Oklahoma State is starting to dislike us real fast.

He's 40, he can handle it.

Per Danny on his commitment today:
quote:
I'm told even Arkansas was surprised by Bryce Stephens jumping on board today. He called a staff member and asked if he could get on the phone with Coach Pittman at about 2, because he had some good news he wanted to share. Of course they arranged that, and obviously the Razorbacks were more than ready to take him. They love his speed.

Sounds like we'll have another spot available in '21 after Pittman said he doesn't expect Jaqualin McGhee to make it.

Tulsa metro area is loaded this year and next. One of our 22’ offers CJ Brown(Beggs)was shut down last night as was aTm commit Kendal Daniels.
Bentonville West plays at Broken Arrow today at 2. Jenks put it on Har Ber last night.
The new superior program in the Tulsa Metro now is Bixby. They have it going on. Bixby beat Union 34-0 last night. Combined the last two seasons, they’ve beaten Union and Jenks 77-0. They’ve won 5 state titles since 2014 in 6A-II and they play Jenks next week.

Sam is working hard in Oklahoma this year. Tulsa has a big Arkansas alumni presence. Hopefully it pays off.

WR depth chart next year looks fun.
