Nunez first appeared on the court this summer in July when his AAU program, Texas Hardwork, made its return to the court. He was impressive as he was all season long during his sophomore year campaign.

In his first game back he hit six threes and was extremely impressive and it drew the attention of Virginia’s Tony Bennett who now is in full pursuit of Nunez. Mind you, this was three months ago but Nunez has kept that same flow going entering his junior campaign.

I like Coach Musselman and Coach Patrick, they are both great guys, and also everyone on staff has texted me to give me advice to better my game.”
