I saw on 247 earlier that he got an Auburn crystal ball tonight. First one for them which seemed odd but maybe now reading this they did indeed flip him.

Someone pointed out that Auburn played tonight which is when Chris originally was set to announce. Maybe that’s why he pushed it to tomorrow.
Would suck to have to play against him, rather he go to Memphis. Would make me a tad worried about Williams as well.

I seriously had to read his quote like 10 times for it to register to me that it was indeed from today, and it indeed wasn't happening. I never go on that board, but I just had a feeling to go check.

So Marcello put in the Auburn pick because Moore called Keith Niebuhr and told him he'd have a name tag and a place at the announcment if he made it. Moore also told the same to Danny West.

Losing Moore doesn’t mean shite, he’s not a big loss and will be an average college player. Now if this leads to losing Williams, it will sting.

Well, assuming we miss on KAH and get Williams I wonder what we do with the spot. Could pursue Walker, go after McBride (don’t need another guard but more shooters the better), take a JUCO big or wait for a transfer.
I would probably see if we can get Walker and if he declares for the draft in the spring just use his spot on a grad transfer. It also means no one would have to leave if Joe miraculously decides to come back for his junior year.
Should be interesting. It’ll all work out though, worst case we have another spot open to use on 2021 when Muss has another year worth of relationship building with these kids.

Danny flipped his CB to Auburn so it looks like we’re going to lose out here. Weird one since none of us ever thought we were going to get him at all until this week since he was a Memphis lock for so long but now all of a sudden he’s down to Auburn. Very odd.

It was a good read, the problem was I overlooked him moving it from Friday to Saturday because Auburn was playing Friday. Everyone was worried about the wrong team the whole time.
