Batesville junior guard Isabella Higginbottom tweeted Monday afternoon that she committed to Missouri. She’s one of the top prospects in the 2021 class. Higginbottom is a four-star recruit & ranked #57 in the ESPN/Hoop Gurlz National Recruiting Rankings. Izzy had offers from Arkansas State, Oklahoma, UT Arlington, Texas State, Murray State, Grand Canyon, North Texas, Drury, & Arkansas Tech to name a few.

Offer list and ranking don’t match up at all.

The girls recruiting services leave so much to be desired.
Best follow of WBB info is a guy on twitter - @Raoul_000.
Rankings way off site to site and never updated list of commits. Wolfenbarger was our first commit on many of the sites and we've had 3 committed for 2021 since basketball season started last year.

Eric Musselman has been on a tear since the end of the season to make his 2020-21 roster the best it can be and there's a new target emerging on the list.
David Mutaf, a 6-foot-5 wing from Istanbul, Turkey, is known as a high level shooter and is also extremely experienced even though he doesn't turn eighteen years of age until June 14.
quote:
"He plays the two/three. He's a wing player. He's the best wing player for his age in Turkey. He's clearly one of the best three in Europe at his position, and at his age."
quote:
Turkman says the Gophers and Razorbacks should be considered the leaders with USC, Arizona State and Georgetown also in the mix. He went on to tell us what Mutaf likes in each program.
"He likes Minnesota and the warmness. He can see that Minnesota really wants him bad. He likes the Big Ten Conference. At Arkansas, he likes Eric Musselman a lot. He likes Musselman's past record. He likes that fact that the assistant coach has NBA experience (Clay Moser)."
Meanwhile, Turkman isn't exactly sure of a commitment time frame, but he expects one to come sooner that later.
"I think he probably wants to make his decision pretty quickly. I know Arkansas and Minnesota want him to make it quickly."

Eh, he wouldn't be a bad addition this late in the market but he has alot of room for growth. He shoots below 40% from the field. He really needs to work on his shot selection. He also feels like a strange fit to me. Could really only play one position effectively as of right now.
He did shoot 32% from deep last year and that was a big improvement from his freshman season so thats a plus.

USC guard Elijah Weaver is seeking a transfer, and he cut his list to three on Friday, including Arkansas. Unless the NCAA passes a one-time penalty-free transfer exception, Weaver would have to sit out one year due to NCAA transfer rules. He would have two years of eligibility remaining for the Hogs.

His son on staff does a lot of compiling info on all these guys and they reach out to almost everyone for a first impression.
Also Clay Moser has done 20+ virtual visits with Muss in the past week or 2.

Maryam Dauda committed to Baylor on Sunday.

That’s unfortunate. She would have been a game changer for us. At least she went out of conference though.

Were we ever really in it? Chose Baylor with zero visits after "handfuls" of visits to our campus.
Where is Moses Kingsley when we need him?
