Seems like Ohio St is going to be our biggest competition in landing Moody. Oregon sneaking into the picture also worries me but it seems like a two team race as of right now.

Oregon just got a CB for Moody

Some theft issues for Gabe during last years season are finally coming to light.

Damn, decent chance we need up with 8 or 9 active scholarship players next year.

Another CB in for Moody to Oregon. I really hope there isn't much to this.

He was at the Nike Skills Academy this past weekend

Has Oregon decided to finally step it up with their NIKE money? Their football recruiting has been really solid lately too.

Oregon gets highly rated basketball recruits under Altman. No doubt NIKE money used.

Regarding the Arkansas instate basketball recruits for 2020

Im thinking we have a decent shot at KK, at best 50-50 coinflip for Jaylin Williams and little to no shot with Moody or Moore.

Is that close to how others see it?

Oh, I know but they seem to be good at it when they want to

Oregon wouldn't be shocking as I was worried as soon as Moody talked about visiting there. They seem to get in the mix with any player they focus hard on, no matter where he is from.

KK definitely feels like the best shot. Kansas worry's me a little if things go a certain way but I think alot has to go wrong with their plans to make it a serious threat.

IMO it will be Ok St. or us for Jaylin. Texas A&M or Auburn might make it interesting but I think they are little below the other two.

I guess I'm still fairly positive on Moody. Just seems like he is always back in Arkansas for many different reasons, not even just basketball related. Doesn't really mean too much in the grand scheme of things but Ohio St., Arkansas or Oregon look like the top three.

I agree on Moore. Staff is trying but I think it is too late.

There's a legit chance we go 0fer on these instate guys?

Besides Moody, was Mike's staff high with any of them or is that where their heads started to turn?

Mike would've struggled mightily with all except maybe Jaylin and Anderson didn't offer KK back when he was head coach. We've already offered multiple 2021 and 2022 instate players, which Mike wouldn't have offered this early.

Last year Mike didn't pursue Issac McBride until super late last summer, he went on to Kansas, it didn't help our cause when Mike and the staff called him Isaiah instead of Issac.

Chance? Sure but highly unlikely IMO. I would be shocked not to get at least one and if I had to bet, I would say two.

I hate to lose any Arkansas players with offers but this staff has really covered alot of bases in recruiting. Doesn't feel like they are ever putting all their eggs in one basket.

We got an outside shot at two very good players in Oklahoma for '20 and two even better ones in '21. I think the hire of Coach Crutchfield is really going to pay off in that state in the next few cycles.

Wasn't it Derrian Ford that people were complaining about earlier in the year because Mike hadn't given him an offer yet? Musselman didn't take long.

We probably hurt ourselves a little in our chances of getting Moody by firing Mike but he wasn't close to a lock by any means with Mike here. Musselman already looks way better in long term planning for the program.

I'm pretty confident Moody was a Hog with the previous staff but it was because of Watkins not Mike.

And like you we are still very much in it now and I still like our chances.
