Sunday Adebayo. Played here>Memphis>back here. NCAA royally screwed us and Sunday’s career up.

This whole sequence is what was the downfall of the basketball program.

Had Sunday and Jesse Pate remained on the squad for their eligibility, Arkansas at worst has another final four banner, more likely several final fours and probably a NC or two as recruiting would have continued at blue blood level...

Saw an SMU fan say he set their record for assist to turnover ratio this past season so there is that.

It will be awckward for some to see such a "huge miss" in recruiting by Anderson recruited back and starting for Muss next season.

Lots of truth here. We were setting up to be loaded coming off our title and the NCAA flat out fricked us over.

It will be more awkward watching both our “PGs” trying to shoot from outside.

The frick are we doing?

Eh, thankfully we have been adding some good shooters from outside in basically every pick up so far excluding Whitt. I want to see how better Harris can look in a more open offense with lines to drive and kick. No Gafford clogging the lane anymore.

Was afraid of this but Jerry Meyer switched his CB from Arkansas to Kansas regarding Kyree Walker.

Yeah I read yesterday or the day before that he has picked Kansas and it's done.

When there was that Dallas tournament a few weeks ago it started tilting that way. Kansas was really never in the picture till then and Walker made a point to mention them and that Self wanted him to play the point. Shame but not really that unexpected.

Not grabbing him or Moody would be fairly disappointing though. A CB went to Florida last week regarding him so I guess that really isn't trending in a good direction either.

Yeah it sucks. I still feel good on Moody though.

I have no problem with signing multiple point guards, as long as we get one that is good, and not just serviceable.

By Kevin McPherson

quote:

The next expected Arkansas visitor is 2020 Che Evans (6-6 wing / small forward, Neumann-Goretti High School in Philadelphia, national No. 77 / 4-star prospect according to Rivals.com), who on Saturday reaffirmed his plans to be on campus June 8-9.

Evans recently said his interest level in Arkansas is "high" and that he's "excited" about his upcoming trip to Fayetteville.

"This visit will determine a lot and I'm excited for it!" he said.

Evans picked up his Arkansas offer on May 8. He and his 17U Team Melo squad played Arkansas-based 17U Woodz Elite at the Nike EYBL session in Atlanta in late April with Arkansas coaches in attendance. He finished with 10 points and 2 rebounds in that game.

Evans reportedly holds offer from Texas Tech, UCLA, Florida, Ohio State, Ole Miss, Georgetown, St. John's, Kansas State, Georgia Tech, TCU, Oregon State, Boise State, and others. He may be down to a final three of Arkansas, Oregon State, and Boise State (where he visited in November).

Sasha Goforth committed to Oregon State today. Tough loss for Mike as we really need to keep the top talent instate.

Jeantal Cylla
Role projection for '19-20: Starter or 6th man.

Connor Vanover
Role projection for '19-20: If he's granted a waiver for immediate eligibility, Vanover could be a starter or at minimum earn a role in the top 8 rotation.

Isaiah Moss
Role projection for '19-20:Starter.

JD Notae
Role projection for '19-20: Sit out mandatory transfer-redshirt season.

Jimmy Whitt, Jr.

Girls basketball is among the least loyal when it comes to recruiting out there.

Not good.

Any idea why she chose Oregon State? They're not even the top women's hoops program in their state, Oregon is.

Tough one to lose.

Florida still sounds like the favorite, but we’ve got Kerry Blackshear on campus today.
