Nah, you can clearly separate the two. Do they go hand in hand at some points? Of course but how you handle players on a team and keeping them has nothing to do with recruiting.

Rockiee has a point. Da Bert and HDN mishandled the roster often.
Keeping players that needed processed, playing favorites over more talented players, not using players in their correct positions. CMA had this problem at times as well. But.. carry on!

I'm kinda of surprised that it is even something someone would not understand.
You can cover holes in both areas if you excel in one of the two. For example, If Mike was recruiting at a high rate, we wouldn't care too much about all the players that transferred. In the same way his recruiting wouldn't have hurt us as much if we didn't have so much roster turnover each year. There is clearly a difference between roster management and recruiting.
I really didn't even bring it up because I thought it was going to be an issue with Musselman (has done a great job so far in both areas) just seems some mix the two together.

ohh, I agree...
CMA had no answer when some of his Bigs left for the NBA... and constantly had to supplement our roster with less than caliber talent. Then having so many transfer and some with quite a bit of talent that wasn't managed as should be
Yes, they can go together, but not necessarily mutual in all situations.

Exactly my point. Keeping players that did not belong and not replacing them through recruiting better. You keep the scubs/reaches if you cant get anyone better. Why was there so many "reach" players? Poor recruiting. Doesnt make a DNA how you "handle" them, they will rarely "pan out". Again poor recruiting. Not prepared for players departure happens sometimes, but other EVERYBODY but Anderson saw coming.
Poor management of the roster was frequently the result of poor recruiting. More a symptom than a cause.
With all that said. I thought Anderson was a mistake because he would never be out of Nolan's shadow here. I wanted him to do well. Anderson has definate strengths. Recruiting was not one of them, and many of his issues were ultimately a symptom of that. I wish him well.

I am a bit perplexed by this. Seemingly a good pickup, but where? How many Schollys do we still have to give, etc.

Nice pick up
Along with this scoring, he rebounds the ball really well for a guard and almost gets 2 steals per game.
Scored more than 20 in 9 games last year and had a 40 point game as well.

We’re 1 over right now. Every video I’ve see of justice hill lately he is working out with a personal trainer so one could assume he is gone.

Hill should be playing football anyway. He's probably going to transfer St. John's, but he has a better chance making it to any kind of pro league as a football player.
