2021 SS Max Muncy of Thousand Oaks HS is one of the top uncommitted 2021 recruits in the region and is garnering the attention of programs across the country and after watching him a few times this spring it's easy to see why. He moves very well to both sides defensively and has some sneaky power in the bat (see 2/16 video below) that projects to continue to develop. He looks the part of a high level recruit already and as the spring turns into summer it will only be a matter of time until he finds the right collegiate fit for him....

For the third straight offseason, Dave Van Horn has bolstered his roster with a graduate transfer. Former top-300 recruit Lael Lockhart Jr., who spent the last four years at Houston as a two-way player, announced he would play his final season at Arkansas via Twitter on Friday. After beginning his career as primarily a switch-hitting utility man, even earning second-team All-AAC honors as a sophomore in 2018, Lockhart became the Cougars' Friday night starter early last season.
Fr. INF/OF Jesse Pierce is the latest to enter the portal.
Previously after this shortened season:
#26 Travis Hester - RHP - RFr. (back from TJ surgery)
#44 Collin Taylor - RHP - RJr.
Baseball rosters will be bloated and especially ours with this top recruiting class and only 5 rounds of MLB draft.
Lower divisions and JUCO will get a good amount of these guys who need the playing time with smaller roster and bigger pool.
