I don't think TE will be in the cards for him. I see strongside DE and possibly offensive tackle but the tackle spot would need to be planned with a redshirt.

Grayson Gunter and Hudson Henry are the only 2 TE's returning after this upcoming season.

They have 2 TE commits in Horace and Frazier but they are also looking for a grad transfer TE for experience.

Can anyone who’s seen him play or watched his film give me an analysis of his play style?

Really raw. Not super explosive, but has speed. His strength is his strength. Dude is powerful.

Hes a big boy. Very physical, not afraid to go right at someone on offense/defense.

Great pickup, gotta get the few guys you have in your own back yard.

Chad definitely knows where he needs to recruit looking at how the 2020 class is shaping up so far.

Chandler Morris recap from day one of the Elite 11:

quote:

Morris’ workout on Saturday night didn’t leave any jaw dropping throws to relive as much as it just spoke to his consistency. His two misses were on deeper throws but he was very accurate everywhere else on the field. The Arkansas commit is effective outside the pocket, has good footwork and body control and was nearly perfect over the middle of the field.

They ranked him as the 11th best out of 20 QBs there. Criswell is also there but didn’t make the top 11 according to Barton Simmons.

Ranking the best of the Elite 11 QBs from Day 3

3. Arkansas commit Chandler Morris of Dallas (Texas) Highland Park was extremely sharp from start to finish on Monday. Despite being undersized at 5-foot-10, 175-pounds, Morris is fundamentally sound and was accurate with his throws. Morris was at his best throwing intermediate routes.

Seems like I have seen multiple reporters mentioning that he is one of the best passers for the intermediate routes and his strength at throwing on the move as well.

The kid won't have a cannon but if he is accurate then that can negate that. People undervalue accuracy.

After having Austin Allen, Ty Storey, and Cole Kelley the last 3 years, I'll take accuracy all day every day.

SoUnder a lot like Brandon Allen. Austin wasn’t a bad qb btw he just got absolutely mauled playing behind the worst line I have ever seen in a Razorback uniform. Austin Allen begins center we win at least 5 games last year and possibly 6 with mizzou being a very close game

Unlimited amounts of pressure tends to cause that.

Dude's lucky he's not eating out of a straw after some of the hits he took.

Yeah, really isn't fair to put him in the same group with Kelley and Storey. Austin was almost 5% better completion percentage than those other two. Austin threw 15 ints one year but also threw for 25 tds that same year and over 60% completion.

Morris 13-18 with 3 TDs today at The Opening finals. Jamie Vance was on the same team and read he had a PBU in the endzone.
