I've heard Arkansas is not in the driver's seat here and that Tennessee and LSU are two that have made a big impression.
My CB is still on Arkansas for now, but that could change soon.

So, there's a better than slight chance that we will not sign the top two players in the state.
I do think we have a 50/50 shot at Toll, but we seem to be taking a pass on Criswell.
It's not a deep class in state next year. We may only take two or three (my guess), unless someone really blows up.

True enough, according to some. I'm thinking there's more than just talent involved though. Maybe the knee injury took away more than we realize. By some accounts, Criswell looked better than KJ at camps.
I have questions about Toll, myself.
Has the physicals, but doesn't really have a position.
Wants to play DE, I understand. We recruited a pretty good class of those this past year.
2A and 3A players seem to take a while to pan out, or just plain don't (See Storey and Bell.)
Hope Malik Chavis breaks that trend.

Just depends. We've had a couple from junction who's contributed like alan Turner and some lineman a few years ago. Plus Kenneth dixon was a great rb for la tech and he was 2a.

Alan Turner was bad. Bryan Jones didn’t live up to his recruiting hype.

Honestly I’m not sure they’re really even trying to sign either. They clearly have quite a few QBs ahead of Criswell and I think the only offered Toll due to pressure from his other offers.

Liberty eylau in texarkana texas I believe would be the equivalent of a 3 or 4a school in Arkansas and they produce tons of talent. Same with haynesville Louisiana. Korliss Marshall was another one from a small school who had all the talent in the world he was just a mental midget.
