Can someone tell me the story on Isaac Mcbride? Combo guard who is the 2019 #1 player in Arkansas and he flees to Kansas. Did Mike Anderson make a strong run at him or did Mike tick someone off?

McBride is a PG at Baptist. he was being crooted but was always gonna be option #2 behind Justice Hill. once he started to blow up and get alot offers the Hogs backed off (or were told "not interested").

I figured as much, hopefully Justice pans out.

That the kid from Magnolia?
There’s a freshman down in Magnolia that already has offers from Big12 schools, but no sign of Mike Anderson.

Speaking of Moody, looks like he will be a McDonald's All American as he continues to sky rocket.

If mike wants ford, there is a possibility he gets him. I'm a coach in south Arkansas and know the coaches from magnolia pretty well. I've talked to them about ford and he is a hog fan but there maybe people in his ear that want him to pull a monk and try to go to a "blueblood" basketball school

From what I understood Jacolby already wanted to commit but the coaches had him hold off to see how he came back after the injury.
Curious how we recruit QBs for 2020 with Chandler in the picture too

He won Longview’s first state title since 1937 on Saturday and his dad is the HC.
Coach Traylor has watched multiple Longview playoff games (as well as many other TXHS football playoff games in December) and Haynes has visited Arkansas at least twice so far.

Longview waited 81 years for its second state championship, which was delivered in large part by the Saturday afternoon performance by 2020 quarterback standout Haynes King, a high three-star on 247Sports who is a top 50 overall recruit in the Lone Star State for his class. King's Lobos rallied in the fourth quarter to beat a talented Beaumont West Brook squad 35-34 in the Class 6A Division II title bout.
The game was played in front of a weekend-best 48,421 fans. King completed 16 of 27 passes for 423 yards, two touchdowns, and no interceptions, while rushing 12 times 65 yards and another TD to lead the way for a Longview squad that ran the table at 16-0. The traditional East Texas power erased two eight-point second-half deficits to get the win. King earned Offensive MVP honors for his performance.
One of the top quarterbacks in a deep 2020 QB cycle in Texas, King has gotten offers from Arkansas, Auburn, Baylor, Kansas, Missouri, TCU, Houston, Louisiana Tech, Memphis, North Texas, Southern Miss, Texas State, Tulsa, and ULM.
