I still think he's going to OU, but I wouldn't take anything from that. Almost all recruits say that, and it could easily refer to all of the OU and Texas fans that would trash him if he were to pick Arkansas.

Oh he’s definitely going to commit to OU. He wouldn’t need to commit to us to save a spot like he said. They’d hold a spot for him until signing day, if he was showing interest. OU wouldn’t do the same so it’s obvious where he is going.

So we hired an up and coming coach that was supposed to be able to recruit Texas and was supposed to be a good recruiter but is proving to be the opposite? Have we landed anyone that wasn't basically a default guy? Someone bring the sunshine to my pump.

I'm asking seriously. High level scanning this it seems like we're only getting the default guys more or less. I gave up following recruitment when I got a real job.

Hasn't gotten off to a roaring start, but some of them had some decent offers other than us. Default or not.

It looks like KJ Jefferson picked up his 4th star on 247 and is the number 3 dual-threat QB in the country. I guess he's now suddenly a much better player

Tom lemmings rated him a 4 star, with 5 star potential, well before any of these services updated their systems to even reflect he was a dual threat.
