Man I hope not. Mississippi fans become insufferable when given any success. I’m already having to endure their fans laughing at us thinking we made a horrible hire.

Next year is the easiest schedule we have had in a long time. If he wins less than 7 I'll be a little disappointed. We beat ole miss last year with our terrible coach. And we should have beat mizzou. With state losing their coach to Florida I expect them to fall back to the bottom of the sec west. And vandy should be a win. If CCM is better than CBB, which would be hard not to be, he should win more of those games than he loses imo.

Agreed overall, however Mullins left Miss State loaded with talent, if Morehead can utilize talent at all, they will surprise some folks.
Mason at vandy isn't a bad coach at all, and he has been there a few years now. We should still out talent, if CBB left much here, and I think he has, they have been under utilized and out of position/conditioning...
Ole Miss .. we should win, Mizz should hardly ever be a loss, I see at least 6.

Some media updates from the second practice that is going on righ now are starting to trickle out. Most notably the first look at the OL. Working at 1st team today:
LT - Colton Jackson
LG - Hjalte Froholdt
C - Dylan Hayes
RG - Jalen Merrick
RT - Brian Wallace

I swear to God when he starts playing and is dominant this will be the biggest Indictment on Bert. Literally started a freshman who was not ready at all over this guy.
This will 100% prove that he played favorites to the detriment of the team.

Hays starting center would be something.
Edit: Went from a preferred walkon spot in June 2015 to on scholarship shortly after. Started out at OL then flipped to NG while being talked up of playing behind Bijhon and Capps then back to OL last year with the injuries.

Also Zach Rodgers quitting after his father throwing a shite fit on twitter while our line sucked last year really hurt this team.
Dude would have been a solid center for us, and he finally would have started. Just don't get it really.

Moorhead will be like Bert down here, just out of place.
Also I doubt Fitzgerald is the same player after that injury.

I think I’m done with press conferences for a few years.
Bret sucked that enjoyment out of me for a while. Besides, Morris is painful to watch. I’m tired of slogans and cool little phrases. Maybe if they got rid of the forward facing Hog and could somehow strike #Uncommon from my memory I’d be a little bit less cynical.
Can’t wait for kickoff next year though.

Says we need to get faster and bigger in some areas. Surprise, surprise. I do like morris's optimism that he will get talent here needed. With the kinds of players we have looking at us I could see it happening. Really big WR's (which Bert never tried to recruit except martin) all over have us in their top 5.
Was Josh Paul considered a good pick up? I think kyrie Fisher was the one we really thought could help. Either way it opens up a spot for the new guys.
Brandon Martin having trouble in press is retarded considering he is like 40 lbs and 5 inches taller than most DBs. I thought he was a thug? Boy sounds soft.

Not really. It was a big recruiting reach by Bert that obviously hasn't worked out. He is the first of several expected processings.

Does anybody know how the coaching staff will be available to the media? Will they rotate offensive staff and defensive staff every practice like with Bert?
Posted on 3/3/18 at 3:28 pm to The_Joker
I expect during the week they alternate like that with the media.

understandable. but it's not for us, it's for recruiting.
that said, winning will cure what ails us. it'll help us swallow those little things that perturb us
