I'm immediately put off by the name of his school. Sounds shady to me.

Yikes, 2 star that was committed to Seattle.

Interest from UCLA and Ark recently but still, not the answer we're looking for, offers from Hofstra and a former Seattle commit.

Offering this late means someone is definitely transferring, but whom?

We didn't offer, yet anyway.

He also has offers from Auburn, Murray st, West Virginia. He's visiting Auburn this weekend and WVU next weekend.

Here's a scouting report.

quote:

SCOUTING REPORT
Strengths:Dickerson is extremely fast with the ball, and he is even more dangerous in transition. To this point, his ball-handling is his biggest attribute, but the shooting is progressing very nicely.

Weaknesses:With someone that plays as fast as Dickerson does, turnovers do happen. He needs to work on playing under control and limiting the turnovers.

Skills Review
Shooting: Average
Dribbling: Excellent
Passing: Excellent
Rebounding: Average
Intangibles: Good

He has a short vid on youtube, he looks like a very good shooter off the dribble and a really good passer.

I understand the whole first school to offer you thing, but surely he knows odds are he will be playing for somebody else after his first year.

frick Jones, thug POS.

Dude gets busted for weed and then gets a second chance to attend Arkansas, something he said he "dreamed" of, and picks some god awful basketball school going nowhere and about to fire their coach?

Yeah, enjoy Bud Walton next year, boo the frick out of that POS worse than Archie.

Seagears was a starter for Rutgers as a sophomore.and played 68 percent of available minutes. He is a solid shooter, knocking down 38 percent from three and 74 percent from the foul line last season. The 6'1 guard was limited by his inability to make shots inside the arc (26 percent) and his tendency to turn the ball over. 22 percent of his possessions wound up in the hands of the other team.

So do the Rutgers players get auto-waivers to play next year? If this is the case then

I wouldn't worry about this. I'm sure if I played for Rutgers I'd be scared a ball would hit me in the head the longer I held a possession.

I would guess they'd get immediate eligibility.

Kid was a 4 star, #101 overall.

Be a HUGE get, bigger get than Jones would have been without a doubt.

I don't care about what he was in high school. If he was that good he would've averaged more than 6.5ppg his soph year.

I think it's reaching that he is a huge get. We need a pg bad so its huge in terms of what we need for the term. But he isn't some stud player or anything as of now.
