Would you give up one football national championship from the past 8 years?
This is obviously an off-season thread and this sort of plays off of summerofgeorge’s thread. For those that are a fan of all UA sports would you give up a national title in football for one in both basketball and one in baseball?

Can we just trade the heartbreak and soul searching of 2016 and 2018 NCG losses for one of each of those?

Giving up a title would be hard because each title has been special. That being said, the impact that a title would bring to both programs would mirror what beating #1 Florida and #2 Texas did for the football program in the '09 season, so no question. Football has already cemented itself as the top program in the country. For those of us who have been emotionally invested into the basketball program, just one lucky run to the final four would be worth taking a 'down' season in football.

Without a doubt as long as I could pick which one.

I wouldn’t give up a title but I would trade a non-titlle playoff appearance for a final four or cws that also did not win a title so fast it would suck the stripes off the highway.

I'll chalk up 2018 as the one I'm giving up for the future basketball championship.

I would give up way more than one football national championship for one in basketball (even just a final four run).

I'm not giving up anything for anything baseball related.

No. All of those titles are special. Each of those titles is an important piece to Bama's claim on being the greatest dynasty ever and to the claim that Saban is the greatest coach ever.

I like this. 2018 natty was awful, we got stomped and it sucks.

Yes. I'd trade a football NC for just a Basketball NC.

re: Would you give up one football national championship from the past 8 years?
I think it's easy to say yes at first, but it's hard for me to choose one.

2017 was my least favorite season we won a NC in, but I was at 2nd and 26 so don't want to lose that.

Definitely don't want to lose the undefeated '09 season because that was the first. Can't give up 21-0 either. Some of my favorite Bama players were on the 2015 team, so I'm not giving up that.

I guess I'd give up the 2012 title. Can't stomach losing to Notre Dame in a title though. Maybe have Kansas State not lose to Baylor. Bill Snyder winning a national title would've been awesome.
