Will Saban ask Hurts to move to WR or HBack to make room for the better qb

This move or something similar has to take place for us to have any chance of winning another title in the years to come.

I don't know what makes people think he could play another position.

I personally think he has the talent and the skill set to make it to the NFL - just maybe not as a qb. If hurts is still determined to be a qb, he may transfer should Tua win the job in the offseason. If he wants to make it to the NFL, I think he can get a shot and playing for a Saban in some other situations capacity at a different position for two years would probably be a better way to achieve that goal.

He's strong as an ox and difficult to tackle, not to mention he's fast. I have no idea if he has good hands but if he does he'd appear to have the skillset to be a good college H-Back.

Tua isn't ready this year. No need to get in another long discussion about it though.

It wouldn’t be unprecedented. Ohio St moved Braxton Miller to WR a few years back and it worked out well.

Honestly, Saban pulling Tua into his office in January and proposing this might be a decent thing to do. As things stand, Tua never goes pro. Maybe h back might be his way in. He’s more athletic than smelly was.

The whole thing is a shame. Tua will be a Legit NFL baller Tua will have to go sell insurance or something. Let’s get on with it and get these kids in their proper spots. It’s getting stupid.

Did we just get a future Heisman winner at QB to commit that will sign in a few weeks and enroll for the spring?

Because we currently do not have anyone on the roster that could start over Hurts or the staff would have played him then already if they actually believed he could and trusted his ability to handle the pressure.

Dude, Tua is better than Hurts. Saban is a great coach but he can be kind of set in his ways when it comes to starters. That doesn’t change the facts of the situation though.

Saban is very loyal to his starters, and I think he's alright with Hurts so long as he doesn't turn the ball over.

He fumbles a lot. Last year was really bad for fumbling.

Why because I do not share your opinion or that you think you know better then a HC getting 10 million a year. Someone call UT who needs a coach this is your guy.

Based on what your opinion?

Please link me to the stats that proves this. What ranked team or any team for that matter has Tua beat?

Lets remember opinion is not fact and just because you value your opinion so greatly does not make it the gospel.

I’ve been a Hurts supporter but he hasn’t handle pressure all that well in any big game over the last two years.

Agree for 2017. I don't think that applies after an off-season.
