How many games has Lia played in? I’m sure the plan was to redshirt him

I love Mac, but Taulia has the skillset to utilize all of our offensive toys better. We need to start getting him in their in real action.

Do we really know this? Or are we just in love with him because of Tua? How do we know at this point in time PBT isn't the better option?

In the limited time that we saw him in the ADay game he looked like Tua out there. He’s quick, mobile, accurate, and made a 20 yard TD throw on the run that Mac couldn’t make in his wildest dreams. He moved the second team offense better than Mac. That’s all I know
He throws the slant just as well as Tua

He has looked like a one read and run guy in his limited season action to me (as expected with most freshmen)

Well so was Tua for the most part last year. With Taulia we could actually utilize his running ability, and run a bunch of RPOs. He’s a much more accurate passer than Mac, and he seems to play with the same confidence as Tua

He’s probably a better fit for this offense than Mac given he’s mobile while Mac is pro style.
