1. Billingsley Returning Kick-Offs ? He is a very athletic TE, but he is not a sub 4.5 guy, or a guy with the open field elusiveness you want to have for a kick or punt return.

2. Jobe lining up offsides- no, wandering into the opposing backfield, and touching offensive players at the snap on a play he has to know he's not even involved in.

3. Dylan Moses - How does he start before all the talent we currently have at LB ? Moody played one game this season and flashed for 60 minutes. The only time I know Moses is in the game is when he is getting torched, or I happen to notice that he is loafing around avoiding contact.

4. Tim Smith is a wrecking ball. Phidarian Mathis creates havoc. Barmore is the most disruptive force on the defense. How do any of them ever come off the field with Dale in their place other than depth minutes ? Dale like Moses goes GAMES without creating a highlight.

5. Scoring 52 points and barely holding on to win.

6. Complete lack of blitz vs statue QB for a team with ZERO run game.

7. If the D is going to allow a TD almost every possession vs a competent offense then the game is reduced to getting a couple stops, and outscoring everyone.

Then why not blitz the ever living hell all game long trying to create the kind of negative plays that could possibly help Bama get one of those rare stops. If it's get a turnover, or create a huge negative play, or give up a TD then what do you have to lose ?

8. Golding

Hate to agree here, but you have a point.

I thought the 2019 play at safety was bad but man this current group makes those two look like All American's. Neither of these two have any football savvy. The problem is nobody on the roster has taken those two positions.

Bama hasn't recruited an elite safety in years.

Battle and Wright are both so wildly inconsistent. The missed tackles, especially behind the LOS, are absolutely maddening.

9. Fans finding no joy in running through an 11-game SEC slate unbeaten and heading to the CFP as the #1 seed.

This. I know they are the minority, but T-Bob Hebert has a point when it comes to some Alabama fans who are never satisfied. We are undefeated, SEC champions, and are on our way to the playoffs once again.

Just spoiled is all. 13 years ago fans would have been ecstatic at this season. Now fans are melting over winning the SEC title game because it wasn’t impressive enough. The other team gets zero credit.

To use a Saban line, success isn’t a continuum. Each team has to put in work to develop and create its own path. I’m a tad disappointed at the melt threads and posts outnumbering those lauding Sark, DeVonta, Najee, Mac, Anderson, etc.

Spoiled is the only explanation.

Dont think its the cfp trip thats he's complaining about. We as Bama fans want the ship, we dont want to be happy with an invite. We know that this run will end. You only have so many times we will be going to play for it. So to have this amazing offense but a crap defense that's not holding its own make people worry.

Just enjoy the ride. It’s not going to be like this forever. Let the players and coaches worry about what needs to be corrected.

I’m fine with criticism. It’s balance. I even acknowledged that we were going to be lucky to get one stop in the second half in the game thread. It was obvious. But this shite since last night is over the top.

No. No he doesn’t. T-Boob is a troll and even admitted he has to get creative with his trolling when it come to Alabama because LSU can’t compare resume wise.

And he made up this total lie that Alabama was easy to get into around 2008 compared to LSU just because he had a lot of high school friends go to Bama.

I have lost my Crimson Sunglasses. I believe it is ok to discuss the glaring problems the Tide has on defense.

Jobe touching, no putting hands on him like he’s praying for him. I mean, he does know that’s against the rules right?

I came close to giving you a day or two timeout during your true meltdown you had.

This is not a meltdown. This is the stuff people that are paying attention talk about because patting ourselves on the back repeatedly after every win would get boring AF.

I can promise you Saban and the coaches get this team together, and point out everything that gone done wrong.

There are standards, and if they are not met we aren't going to win another title.

People need some perspective. This is an era when offenses have a decisive advantage and we just played a team with a passing attack at least as effective as ours with a Heisman finalist throwing to 2 first round NFL draft picks. Points are inevitable. We put Florida in a lot of uncomfortable 3rd downs and they made some plays.

We aren’t going to play an offense that good with any potential playoff matchup.

The OP quite literally fits into his "We are Paris. We are art" troll from two weeks back. There are a number of Alabama fans out there who don't know how to enjoy a win no matter how big that win is. Nick Saban even brought this up during SEC Media Days in 2015. He said something to the effect of: "Here we are 12-2, SEC champions, lost a heart breaker as the #1 seed in the first ever college football playoff, a Top 5 finish, and everyone's asking me where it all went wrong."

I disagree. Clemson has every bit as good a passing game, and they also have a running game. Florida literally had zero running game. Clemson would beat the hell outta UF. Not because their team is so much better than Bama, but because Venebles would know exactly what to do to a team that never runs the ball.
