The student section has been loud as hell and has stuck around in huge numbers for the entirety of the Ole Miss and Tennessee games.
I dunno if COVID made them realize what they lost or what, but it's been night and day to 2014-2019ish.

I sat in a lower box at about the 50yd line and had a good vantage point to watch them. They were awesome! They really got into the game. The whole atmosphere was great.

Now, we need the uppity class and silver hairs to do the same! Pisses me off to see them just sit through a game all nonchalant! Imagine how loud that place would be if everyone bought in....FANS CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!!

Hats off to the sections around me - folks standing and yelling for much of the game (when Bama’s on defense). It’s been a noticeable difference.

The reason why bama fans get crapped on for our atmosphere is because we are usually blowing people out by halftime. Now that our defense is more of a liability more teams are driving on us and usually getting closer to the endzone. As much as I love our 2011-2018 teams dominating, I admit as a season ticket holder over the past three seasons having closer games has been very exciting and our fans have been decently loud over the past few seasons.

I thought the atmosphere and the crowd noise was great Saturday night. There was a lot of noise and standing in the north endzone Saturday night. It wasn't just the student section. I was impressed that they stayed for almost the entire game.

I've believed that Saban mentioning it the week before the Ole Miss game was what brought it on. The team has obviously been impacted when playing in away venues; off-sides snaps were one of the issues we all saw.
I've been thrilled to watch the result as well.

While this may be true of current-day, as someone who has been going to games for decades, it hasn't always been an issue.
