Was this a choke, bad skill, poor coaching, victim of fate, or all 4?

Trying to characterize this loss.

Statistically, we more or less outplayed Auburn, but we made a shite ton of stupid coaching decisions, but a good team should never lose a game on a FG return for a touchdown.

Poor coaching and poor special teams IMO.

I'd say poor decisions and Foster choking.

Honestly the inability to get a first down on 2 4th and shorts. The OL and RBs should be ashamed of themselves.

Dumb playcalling. Stupid personnel groupings. Bad luck. Poor tackles.

Where was Drake? Was he kidnapped by aliens during halftime? Someone needs to put out a search party for him.

It was Auburn being Auburn. No team in the history of college athletics has won more games in more ridiculous, improbable ways than Auburn football.

This one hurts, but these guys overachieved this year due to good coaching. I was scratching my head at times though. There is really nothing to say to lessen the impact. My wife is pissed, kids crying, but my sucky auburn loving in laws are crowing like they personally had a hand in the victory.

No. We had 100 yards more of total offense, but we had fewer first downs, more penalties, far worse third down conversions.

Our weak point on offense. We have been absolute garbage on 3rd down all year.

Passing up a 30 yard FG that would have won the game?

We went 0-4 on FGs is this question serious?

The more I think about it, the less pissed about that call I am. Foster wasn't going to make that (hell, he almost missed a couple extra points). We couldn't man up and get a yard against an undersized defense. It is what it is.

I saw him on the side line in the second half. Something about not feeling well with a coughing it up with the game on the line.

Then you have Griffith kick it, because Saban obviously had confidence he could make one from 57.

The two carries by Yeldon on the two previous downs...2 yards and zero yards.

I like our chances fourth and 1.

Higher chance to make field goal than a hail Mary.

I absolutely hate questioning Saban or anyone on the staff, but I can't help but wonder why Griffith wasn't already kicking field goals. He came very close to making that 57 yarder, just came up a little short.
