Says congratulations Alabama. How about a series with UCF?

Pretty funny

3 for 1 deal. And play the return game at a larger stadium in Florida.

We do play in Orlando next year. I wouldn't want to play UCF though. There's nothing to gain. Sucks for them, but we should be play the easiest G5 teams we can find.

They can take over in the second half, after Bobby has had enough.

They'd give us a better game under Frost. I don't think Heupel is a particularly good hire.

McFarland right near the river. Might actually be in Tuscaloosa, but it's on the Northport side of BW. It's electronic too, so it flips between other ADs.

They just want a check. That game doesn't help us out at all lol. They had a dream season this year. It will just hurt our strength of schedule.

I disagree. It would be good for recruiting in FL and it helps our strength of record to play the better G5 teams. Fresno St and Colorado St helped our SOR this year.

I'm sorry, but I never want to see Alabama play AT a Group of 5 school. If we're going to do a home and home with a Florida school it should be FSU or Miami. Hell, I'd rather we schedule Florida as a non conference game than to play at UCF.

They were terrible homecoming guests. I'm guessing that was y2k maybe?

They were the nail in Dubose's coffin.

That's pretty awesome TBH.

I wouldn't mind a home game with them either.

I think us getting in this year sort of proved that schedule strength doesn't matter much.

Hypothetical betting line released for Alabama vs. UCF

Self-proclaimed unbeaten national champion UCF would be a 21-point underdog in a neutral site game vs. Alabama, according to Todd Fuhrman, a former oddsmaker at Caesars Palace and co-founder of Bet The Board podcast said Tuesday.

Assuming Scott Frost and his entire coaching staff at Nebraska would return to UCF for this matchup, a three-touchdown spread for the unbeaten Knights doesn’t seem all that unreasonable from a wagering standpoint. UCF closed as a 13-point underdog (at most sportsbooks) against Auburn in the Peach Bowl before proving naysayers wrong and winning outright, 34-37.

The Crimson Tide would have an obvious strength edge at the line of scrimmage and the talent disparity between the two teams at other positions is vast.

Fuhrman believes Auburn, the SEC-runner up this season who beat Alabama, would've fared better against UCF had the Peach Bowl meant something to the Tigers.

"If you think the level of focus in a potential real national title game is the same as Auburn in the Peach Bowl you've lost your mind," Fuhrman responded to a UCF fan's claim on Twitter.

SEC commissioner Greg Sankey was dismissive of UCF's bold title claim, saying the national championship was played Monday night in Atlanta.

That's great.

What makes it AWESOME is the used a picture of the one-handed guy towering over what I think is a squirming Stidham.

It's like UCF fans really know us.

Yea 2000. I was there. Made me sick. Andrew Zow was booed mercilessly the entire 2nd half.

They don't want a series with us. In the next few years they will be irrelevant again.
