How do you guys feel about it?
UGA is talented no doubt but I feel like they lost a lot.

It’s Bama’s to lose this year. Too many unknowns with Georgia right now, but Bama has the talent to easily win against a young Georgia team.

I think it's a game we could lose and still be ok. I hate the very idea of it, but it always seems like the team does so much better when they lose early.
On the flip side, assuming they win the East, winning this game could be a backdoor entrance to the playoffs if bad shite happens down the road.
I'm super homer, so I think we win it. I don't think we need a super star at QB to win it all, just a guy who can stand in the pocket, minimize mistakes and make some good throws when needed. With Najee coming back, it's a huge help, I'm hoping we see a Henry/Coker type season.
Really hard to imagine the Georgia offense being all that great. Unless they pull an LSU and start running the RPO in the offseason, I can't see them putting up more than 21.

Worried. Their defense is going to be the poster boy of elite. I sure wouldn't bet against us though. I love these type games and I am glad we get one early. Should help the guys focus this off season.

I could definitely see it being a defensive struggle but I like our chances with what we have returning next season. Najee is going to be a huge piece of the puzzle in games like this. Its going to be interesting to see how the qb position plays out, and najee will give us the versatility to not have to completely rely on our qb to win games.
I feel like our defense will take a huge step forward with moses manning the Mike and Harris at will. I'm also really intrigued by the recent developments of strong being added to the staff. With him running a 3-3-5, I think we could tinker with the defense enough to be really hard to play against.
I think saban sees the writing on the wall with the 3-3-5 and the problems it causes these modern rpo offenses. Being able to be versatile, also to be able to disguise our blitzes and where the pressure is coming from. I'm really excited about next season and the potential of this team

Kirby is over in Athens trying to reinvent the offensive wheel, while we spend the off-season trying to reinvent the defense. After 5 seasons of playing power football, Smart has got himself a new spread QB with a lot of experience and promising to run spread concepts with his brand new OC.
Monken's last college job was as OC for the Oklahoma State Cowboys where they were second in the nation in total offense. The dawgs actually coming to town with an explosive offense is going to require a whole new defensive approach on our part.

I think we win rather easily. I feel good about this years team.
Bama 27
UGA 14

We seem to play better football in the early season, moreso than the end of the season, for a host of reasons.
I feel ok about this game. At least here in February

I think win or lose it'll be fine. All but one of our championships during this run have required an early season loss to galvanize the team.

I would rather go 11-1 and lose the Iron Bowl than lose to Georgia and hear them talk even one millisecond of crap.
Fact.
Fact.

UGA's first 5 games gives a little more room to prep and focus on Game 3 vs Bama the other way around.
Bama D will be much improved. If Mac has control of the offense as it looked like he did in the last two games, the offense will be dynamic.
But, good/unknown coaching and lots of talent will be on the UGA sideline.
I think it will a close one. Hope Bama starts the season fast and the new UGA team is stalled a bit working out the kinks.

I feel good. We are currently in a better position than them pretty much everywhere on offense. New transfer qb that struggled against good competition, developing receivers, replacing their best runningbacks, and an entirely new offensive line

???
The 2011, 2012, and 2017 losses were all in November

I think that we win 31-14 .

All depends on the Bama defense. Bama will score between 20-30 points, can the Bama defense hold Georgia under 20 points?

Wouldn’t it be fricking hilarious if this game causes Mac Jones to get benched, and in comes the backup Bryce Young to beat the Bulldogs again lmao

I think it’s our toughest regular season game. Their talent is on par with ours and Kirby lives to beat Saban. They will have the best defense in the country next season and their offense should be improved. I see a 27-24 type game that could go either way. We need to get our QB situation solidified heading into this game and our defense needs to be starting to gel as well.

UGA has easy games before they play Bama. They will prepare A LOT for this game.

I don't have much of a feel until I see their offense vs Virginia and our defense vs Southern Cal
Our offense is going to be very good. Their defense is going to be very good.

I think that we know enough about our defense to feel good vs. their offense. I know a lot can change in a year( example: 2019 LSU) but no one on UGA's offense scares me at all, and they lost a ton on the Oline.
Comparatively speaking, 2018 LSU had some obvious offensive talent that just needed experience and coaching.
I think that UGA's only chance to win is for their defense to shut down our offense, and I just don't see that happening for 4 quarters in BDS.
