How do they know who is vaccinated or not? Many states have made it illegal to ask or to have to show the passport, not sure if Alabama has, but Florida has. I am sure that some people who have been asked if they have been vaccinated, if it benefits them in some way then the answer becomes yes.

Why do. I have to wear a mask if I am vaccinated?

Because Lord Fauci says so!!
He is, after all, the highest paid civil servant in the country.

I don't really have a dog on this fight, but vaccines don't prevent you from getting things. They provide your body with a blueprint for producing antigens to kill it quickly.
Having had Corona virus, your body should be able to reproduce the antigens quickly. This prevents the spread as your immune systems deals with it when you encounter it faster than it is able to reproduce itself and spread. For anyone who doesn't have that blueprint, the virus will reproduce itself and spread to others very quickly.
But that isn't just for Corona, it's for any virus.
As far as chicken pox, you can't get it again, but you can get shingles, which you can't get if you haven't had chicken pox. The same virus causes both issues. Having chicken pox before will not fight off the virus, but will prevent the initial reaction, but not the second reaction (which is much worse). Having the vaccine would prevent both.

“Ross Bagne, a 68-year-old small-business owner in Cheyenne, Wyoming, was eligible for the vaccine in early February but didn’t get it”
Good example in that link, as this is a typical college age student..
