Tua's injury Vs. Jalen's injury....

If it's basically the same injury and same surgery that Jalen had, I don't think Tua will be back in time unless he just heals quicker
I'm not real sure on the timing but I think the Georgia game was 6 weeks post surgery for Jalen? I don't think Jalen is 100% just yet either although he did look great against Georgia in the limited minutes he did play.I'm hoping Tua is back but if he's limited, I hope they give Jalen a chance first.
What do you guys think....?

Hard to say. We don’t know the extent of Jalen or Tua’s injury tbh. But most prognosticators say 4 weeks is usual minimal with this type of surgery. So 2 weeks seems a bit crazy. I don’t think saban has put tua at crazy risk this year but I’m surprised he never gave him a week off to recover. It’s been get back as soon as possible all year

I understand the severity of the sprain is different. Jalen's involved some tendons and Tua's did not.

Play Jalen and our power run game until OU stops it. Which, I don't think they can. Limit Murray's touches should be our game plan.

What's interesting is the uncertainty may work to our advantage. OU's already awful defense may have to develop two very different game plans.

Not the same injury. Jalen had ligament damage. Tua didnt.

I do believe this is why it has been hush-hush pretty much!

Pretty sure THIS is the treatment Tua received
So walking by day 4, running by day 8 or 9. Return to play 3-4 weeks, assuming it wasn't a more severe injury.

Yes, this is correct. Tennessee game and had surgery that following Monday I think.

Some reporter had it on Twitter. Said Tuas was a lot cleaner injury and as others have said no ligament or less severe damage

I doubt he’ll 100% by the playoff game, even if everything goes perfectly.

Thank you. That’s great news.

If Tua isn’t at full speed, it may be worth starting Hurts and seeing if he can keep up with Kyler on the scoreboard. I sort of think he can against their defense. That would give Tua an extra 9 days to get ready for Clemson. And I think we will need a healthy Tua to beat Clemson. I hope we don’t try to play a hobbled Tua against OU just to see him get reinjured. That would be bad news heading into Clemson.

I’ve got this strange feeling that Notre Dame is going to beat Clemson. I know it may sound crazy but....

I actually agree with you. I think this Clemson team is weaker than last years.
