I don’t think y’all appreciate the gravity of having the title game put on you, being given a 13 point hole and a worn out defense, with literally no prior meaningful game experience. That’s almost an unfair position to be put in. To not only respond, but actually lead your team to victory, is simply incredible. We don’t appreciate how this win will be written in the history books. Amazing night.

You could also say that he had nothing to lose being down 13. Starting QB not being able to throw it, defense is gassed, and your a true freshman.

How many times have you seen the offensive MVP go to a player that not only didn’t start, didn’t even see the field until the second half? Unbelievable!

Not that any of us could see that coming ....but if you know football you knew he had the tools to do it.Hes ability to handle the adversity was the question.
