1. Neither he nor his parents will have to pay a dollar of his medical expenses.
2. He will soon be a multimillionaire...either in 2020 or 2021.

You tell us.

edit: "small but meaningful way" = $5,000,000 goal.

Are our fans going a little bit overboard? By some of these reactions, you'd think Tua is never going to walk again.

No.

1) Tua's healthcare and rehab will be paid for via the University and its insurance plans that cover athletes.

2) Tua is expected to make a recovery, even if this recovery will be a long, difficult one. So, he will still make millions soon.

3) I think it would be getting into the realm of an NCAA violation for fans to give money to Tua or the Tagovailoa family.

4) Finally, this seems like one of those schemes where the organizer pockets the donations.

I love Tua like all of you do, but he is in the best hands possible and will be well taken care of by Alabama.

Absolutely.

In the words of the immortal Gordon Gecko, a fool and his money are lucky enough to get together in the first place.

Yep. And even if Tua goes pro, Taulia is still at UA.

Someone needs to tell that guy to take it down before NCAA notices it.

I actually reported it as suspicious to GoFundMe from that page. I don't know if they took it down because of my message to them.

I'm glad that you reported it. Sounded like a money grab.

There's no way that isn't a scam.
